Dearest musical Friends,

If you wish to add your comments please do it in constructive manner and dont bash any singers or mentors.

This is for first time I am expressing my dissapointment since I have started watching srgmp from 2007 onwards.I just couldn't stop myself writting out my dissapointment.I have skipped srgmp 2009 because I was busy with my life then I start watching srgmp 2010 with high expectation.I am very positive minded person and usually dont get into all the dramas in reality shows and just watch singing part only because I know how they work behind the scenes.But now how to watch the singing part when all the singers are not giving their best.I am not able to see the passion and commitment in every each singer in this show.I like few singers in this show but I am including them too.

I know everything is planned by the creative zee team but singing is solely base on singers on how to perform well and their singing is not planned by Zee.It is their own voice and its up to them how to give their best .Maybe it is because they are too good singers and just performing for the sake of getting fame on tv and they thought the rest will follow at it is. I understand sometimes a particular day is not their day and may not able to give their best but where is their passion in singing?I am not talking about being perfect or versatile singer but I am not able to see their passion or commitment in their singing.

I have just watched the whole chhote ustaad episodes twice and the way each duo kid performed was amazing.Just watch all the performances.All the celebrity guests including John Abraham was part of this show but the show concentrated very much into kids singing.I just loved the level of singing which the kids have showned in this show.I am not fan of Gajji but chhote ustaad was the best show which he have produce and the show went on well because of the kids and mentors.

Actually I dont bother who wins or loose because that is part of the competition in any reality shows.Each kid gave their best and shown their singing skills in every each episode and that is what has amazed me.When I watch srgmp duo I felt sad seeing them not giving their 100% and no passion at all.I am not comparing kids and adults singing here but the commitment ,passion in singing and giving hundred percent in singing,thats what mattered most.I believe if you have the passion,willingness to give your best and commitment it will reflects the singing and the outcome will be hundred times better.

I wish if I know any of the top 10 srgmp 2010 singer personally and could tell them please buck up and give your hundred percent because if the chhote ustaad kids can do their level best and give 100% in their singing and so do they can do it.They need to be serious.

Just recently, I have seen Indian Idol and I am not a fan of indian idol show but what attracts me this time was few singers who gave their best and shown their passion in singing and I was amazed with sreeram who consistently gave his best in every episode and so do other few indian idol singers.My expectation for srgmp 2010 was higher and this time we have really good singers but where is the singing passion,concentration,commitment gone?

The standard which been raise in srgmp 2005 and 2007 was way beyond higher than 2010.Just imagine positive minded person like me who never have commented negatively about anybody singing and now I am sad seeing 2010 singers.All of them have the capabilities and very good singers but am not able to see the passion and commitment in their singing as I have seen in 2005 and 2007 singers.

I am hoping top 10 singers to give their best or at least half of the singers do their best.I just want to watch singers who has passion towards singing ,commitment and kuch karne ki aas ho zindagi mein and not running after fame.Let success run after you and luck play big role too.

The singers should know they are not safe till the competition reach the finale and they should perform in every episode like that is the only last chance they have and should give their best.

Usually I do not pay that much of attention to mentors comments because I am able to predict their dialogues and I dont see their seriousness .I always prefer to concentrate on singers singing only.

I wish all the singers best of luck and pray that all of them give their best.

Sorry friends if I said anything wrong here and did not mean to hurt anyone feelings or singers feelings but I could not stop myself to express my dissapointment towards srgmp 2010 singers since I am so attached to singing and music.

Agree with you. First of all the mentors are not just doing their job.

There are no constructive comments rather generalised comments.

Other actions on stage become more irretating than singing itself.

In Chote...U Sonu himself train them and good example is the the winning girl. Her singing of Mere Dholana was at par with Anwesha last season. There also once they stop involvement of parents on show the standard outomatically raised as only singing came first.

Here singers are good. Song selection is may be sometimes not to their choice but they are trying their best. I dont think the mentors are really sitting with them and improving them.

May be they are far lower than the contestants themselves.

Sorry bhaiya, I think you have misunderstood my post.It is not about the members.I am refering to singers singing quality.Usually I am fine with negative comments and i dont take negative comments negatively and prefer to see in a positive way.My main concern is the srgmp 2010 singers.

They are damn good singers but what happen to them.For me if the singer is not good classically and or not trained then i understand their majboori and least they tried their level best.But here I am talking about good singers who is well trained but not showing their passion and commiments in singing and singing as though like at normal stage performance.Zee tv can control everything they want but they can control singers passion, voice and singing.

No worries bhaiya.I am fine but just could not stop myself to express my feelings.

We all are having nice discussion and also fun in the forum.

But how can one say that some members are immature.

There are moderators here who will look or warn if something is wrong.

Branding some members as immature is not in good taste.

thanks dear.I am just sharing because i know what usually happens behind the scenes in srgmp.I wont reveal much about it but the only thing i can say zee cannot hold singers passion,singing and commitment.

Usually Zee will give the singers few song selections and the singer will select which one they should sing and sometimes it is limited options and that i understand.Sorry to say i dont see any singer trying their level best to give their best on this 2010 platform.I was excited at first seeing so many good talents this time but now I really dont know what to say.Mentors usually will not sit or discuss with singers since they have tight schedule too.....they will pack up once the shoot is done..singers and mentors relations are up to shooting only and then the rest is up the singers how they gonna improve....singers have to practice by their own and zee have their own music teacher to guide them.

I adore the way sonuji and rahatji guided the kids after every each performance.

i strongly object mayaysian girl ji. if the contestants did not have passion for singing, in the first place they would not come to participate in srgmp. channel should stop first of all favouritism and given fair changes to all contestants to select their songs, dress and performance. mentors should properly guide them.

Thanks for your comments and i respect them.my dear, as i already said zee can control everything from their dresses,songs but not their voice and passion.I was excited when the show started and happy but later on now i dont see contestants excitement or passion.This is what I felt personally and thats why I shared here.I never have open any thread like this because i am very much attached to srgmp since 2005 till now.

I already commented about mentors earlier.
