Monday 18/10/10 Episode No??? ada pOngadaa, No iruntha enna, illatta thaan enna???
Tamizh household. Meena wants Vasanthi to do some work but Vasanthi wants B.Sc. psiks
(sathiyamaa athu apdi thaan sollithu ppa !!) Swathi to do that. Oru chinna sandai happens
and Vasanthi semai jollu " Sara maama kku phone pOttu kuden...." Now Tamizh's phone and Kavitha's phone jingli jingling simultaneously - respective grooms to be. Vasanthi and Swathi
hatch a plan. Muthu's phone is given to Tamizh " Prakash maama phone" - Prakash is tied up with Kavitha. Both the women talk the same thing " yen voice oru mathiriyaa irukku??" Muthu is asked about Los Angeles which he promptly understands as Lux soap - anyways, the bluff is called and the sisters engage in "running and catching " game. Meena sees this and ....come on, give Roja a break..... she has to cry ppa !!!! Does her usual solo RKO.
A.Malai comes, sees darling wife in tears ( oh mann, don't tell me that you are still not
used to this !!) - talks in circles " water vaporize aagi mele pOna, mazhai ya thaan thirumbi varanum... pOnnu nna kalyanam aagi pOgathaan vendum.." Meena cares a tuppence for this
lecture " ada pOda punnakku, azha chance kidaicha vidara jathiya naan??? " KK is praying -
all the sons join , KS also joins - blessing time. Right when all are falling at whatever feet
that is available , mommy cyanide and daughter cyanide walk in.
Hearty welcome from KK and KS - all are about to leave for the mandapam. Junior cyanide

My heart was beating fast when it started with Prema's face, her hand holding the cyanide pill, then an image of someone blowing on a sangu, someone beating on that round disk, and sounds of a funeral procession, then she was walking towards KK, Janaki stopped her, took the pill from her, asked her to bring the water, turned and went to KK. KK had just picked up a plate with kumkum and turmeric, Janaki gave her the pill, she was about to take it and Janaki tells her to wait for the water, the water is given to her, she is about to put the pill into her mouth, the picture of magic thatha is right there in the background, and Janaki suddenly screams, and ... the pill has fallen down, the plate has fallen down, all because a lizard fell (where? who knows?). Now the pill thedum padalam begins, (and still nobody is suspicious of the zeal with which Prema and Janaki are trying to make sure that KK takes her pills! What a bunch of naive people!) Prema spots the pill, it has fallen near Janaki's feet, she asks Janaki to get the pill, and just as Janaki steps forward, in comes a foot and steps on that pill! Truly, my heart was beating so fast at this point, idhellam innikki Tuesday vera, idhai paarka vendi varumaanu I was worried, and here is KS, asking what all the noise and commotion is about. That pill has been crushed!
KS asks what the matter is, asks where the palli fell, apparently it fell on Janaki's hand (so does this mean she will die? does anyone know about this palli josiyam?), he tells her to sprinkle water, take a shower, and come. Prema tries to remind about the pill, he says not to bother, and hurries KK into the car. Prema is furious with Janaki for sodappufying, she says she and her mother will go home, take a shower and then go to the mandapam.
Prema goes, not to the mandapam, but to a kudisai, to see the cyanide supplier. He wants to know if everything is over, she says there was a problem but she has an alternate plan. He is admiring of this shishter who plans all the time, says she could easily become the leader of his kuppam (we agree!), she tells him that the wedding is to take place in Ayya kalyana mandapam in T.Nagar (is this a new mandapam? Must have come up in the last 30 years, after I left the place!) and she outlines her plan (muted, luckily!). Cyanide supplier says he will do this himself for his dear shishter, and she leaves.
Tamil praying in her house, neighbor lady tells Meena to tie some money in the yellow cloth and pray for the weddings to take place successfully, tells AM to light the karpooram and do arati. He then gives it to the daughters, but when it is Swati's turn, the karpooram gets extinguished. She is shocked, all the sisters are shocked, the neighbor lady tells them to turn the fan off, and asks Tamil to light it again. She does so, AM tells Swati to take the arati, but once again, the karpooram dies out when Swati places her hands on it. She is shocked - again!
AM consoles her by saying that the karpooram must have been damp, and says that if she applies vibhuti and kumkum, everything will be all right, proceeds to do so and goes outside. There he confides his fears to the other lady, who may be his sister, and she consoles him. Meena does her prayers, then her famous RKO with her daughters, then Tamil makes the daughters do a namaskaram to the parents and get their blessings, and finally, appaadaa, they leave!
KAB (karpukkarasi banshee!) sitting in her house with three chains around her neck, two or three rings on her fingers, multiple bangles (didn't have time to count!) and multiple earrings, tapping on the arm of her chair, calls Sara, the idiot as usual answers the phone, she wants to know what color sari she should wear, says the tickets for Tirupati have arrived, wants to know if she should wear lots of jewelry or minimal, tells him that he need not bring any jewels or cash, finally asks him where he is, and he says he is in the mandapam. KAB is exhaling fire through her nostrils ...

KAB continues to pour fire at the phone. She tells Sara to leave the mandapam immediately and go to her house. He pleads with her, saying that his mother cannot stand the shock and she will die, so KAB says that if he does not go to her house, she will go to the mandapam and disgrace him in front of his own family and then not only will his mother die of the shock, his father may also get a heart attack and die, and his whole family will hate him. She gives him an hour's time to go to her house in Valasarawakkam. How does she think that she will have a happy married life when he is being forced to marry her?
Janaki and Prema - Prema updates her mother on the new plan, and tells her that she is going to take revenge on the KS family for the deaths of her father and athai. She orders her mother to put turmeric on the new sari, which is a flame colored sari (what kind of a daughter orders her mother around like this? only a villi daughter in a Tamil serial!).
KAB is sitting and waiting . Her friend says she doesn't think Sara will come, and KAB is angry, says she doesn't want to hear Sara being spoken about in the singular, says she is confident he will come, and sure enough, the bell rings, and it is Sara. KAB is all smiles, says she knew he would come, picks up the bag, but he says he wants to talk. He tells her again that his parents cannot handle the shock, she says that they will forget his absence in the midst of getting the other two brothers married (you mean, if there are three children, the parents will not miss one child? Wrong, lady, wrong! My grandmother had eleven children, and till the very end, she remembered each child's birthday, and would make a payasam for them on their birthdays. Obviously, you know nothing about closely knit families!). Finally, after much hemming and hawing, Sara comes out with it - I cannot marry you!
KAB is shocked, but Sara explains that he has done drogam to the parents who believed in him and to the kaadhali who believed in him, he is not able to sleep at night, not able to eat properly because of his guilty feelings, so he has decided to commit suicide in her house. She is sarcastic, applauds his latest attempt to get out of marrying her, even though her friend tells her to stop him. She says he is a coward who couldn't tell his parents the truth, how would he have the guts to commit suicide? He opens the bottle and swallows the contents.

Thursday- no RKO from Meena on dangerous wedding crashers lurking around...
Starts with stupid Sara drinking poision (Slowly...slowly...the whole posion going down his eoesphagus shown)..KAB refuses to believe it is real poision. Sara says it doesnt matter and he will die anyway. Akka comes along and tries to convince KAB to attend to him. As Sara stumbles out, he vomits and collapses.. KAB runs to his rescue with big RKO.
At hospital, KAB porAdu-fying with doctor to attend to Sara who has ingested poison. Doctor orders the anti poison squad to come, so that a police report can be made. Dr disagrees, but KAB pleads not to involve police. Dr asks her to talk to chief doctor to convince him, KAB agrees (how do these things happen that you can tlak to the chief doctor to not lodge a polic report?)
At KS home, everyone preparing for wedding. KS and KK looking for Sara, but cant find him, and carry on packing (they dont wonder what happened to the son who has gone missing??)
At hospital. KAB crying, and Dr tells her he will be ok in 2 hours to go home and they managed to fix the deadly poison with a medicine (I need to keep this miracle medicine handy looks like, while watching this episode). Dr discharges him to be fit to go home (!!).
KAB does a soliloque to him, asking him why he did this, and that she loves him. Asks him why she wants him to leave her while she is dreaming of her fairy tale life with him. Why he wanted to die because of her, and that she will go mad if he dies (Hey woman, he hates you, you dont get it at all??) Sara says he has demonstrated his position to her, so he has nothing to say.
KAB says her passion, undying love and infatuation with Sara is not understood well by him. Sara asks why she recued him and continues to kill him like this. KAB says she understands his arumai, and she is like Savithri/Sathyavaan (my foot!). She says Sara's life is given by her, so she will protect him. She admits she behaved like a banshee in wanting to own Sara (mad woman) out of love. She now realises that her love for Sara blindsided her that she was torturing Sara. She thought Sara also loved her above everything else. But now, she realises Sara doesnt feel the same way (tubelight!!), so she agrees Sara should marry Vasanthi. But she asks for a favour. She asks if Sara is ok if she can consider him her hubby for life. She asks Sara to not kaividu her and also to consider her all his life...I think she is asking him if she can be his "keep" for life after his marriage...what a loose woman (and she calls herself Savithri)
Sara looked shocked and confused, but finally I think he agrees (he is in trouble oh boy for life)
Wedding mandapam- all festivities begun, and KK and KS are welcoming all guests. Everyone is seated and wedding about to begin. All 3 priests are ready, Meena and AM happy.
Rowdies get out of car. Bunch of men with a young woman. They ask her to go through the front and they will go through the back so nobody gets suspicious.. (maybe they will ask her to claim she is the wife of one of them)....thodarum.

Nothing much happened in today's episode. Major part they showed the marriage hall KS / AM couple welcoming people , paati , pazhani Thamizh entertaining guests , Nadhas vidhvans , prohits, photo/videographers doing their respective duties.[ Time & again they showed photo/videographer shooting each & every entrant. Looks like there is some catch in this]. A car arrives with some thugs...3 men & a lady. The leader asks the lady to enter the hall thru the main entrance while the men take the back one& enter in to a dark garage. Villi Rani nadai pazhaging with her trade mark expression waiting to hear from these people. Assures sceptical mom that her plan would be successfully implemented.
Scene shifts to Kavitha's room. Friends are teasing her, some light conversation goes on. Kutty Meena comes , captures anni's beauty in her mobile camera , joot straight to MK's room to tease him with Kavi's picture. Second bride's room. Loosu Vasanthi is excessively fussing about her make up & making a mockery of herself.
Sara's room. Mapillai is getting ready. Relief on his face , a slight smile on his lips , friend Ravi is happy to see him like this. Also Ravi observes that Sara's [so called] solved problem is a lesson to all those who indulge in illicit relation before marriage.
More guests arrive...Mr.? Mrs Ekambaram , Ashok , Priya , all duly welcomed & taken care of.
Prema meets the thugs ...outlines her plan...tell them to kidnap the girl whose room she is going to enter now.[Obviously it is Swati]. She will then set up evidence to prove that the girl ran away due to disinterest in the marriage & then she will takthe bride's place in the maNa media. Super plan...certificate given by the thug. He now unleashes his abducting plan...ala Chatrapati Shivaji shtyle...gundu katta ilai kattukkuL vachu thookiduvomla...lady thug is specially engaged for that purpose. Happy prema leaves with the same trade mark expression. The thugs then look at each other & smile surreptitiously.[Magic thatha enna magic paNNap poreL ? kidnap Prema?]
