i have a dumb question after reading all these posts ...
Did they imply/show/insinuate that AR actually did it? I mean, did she really cheat on Sid? Coz from what little I saw, she went up to him thinking it was Sid ... but didn't they break it off when she saw a ring/kara/or something on her hand?
So ... I was wondering why ppl are calling her names when she broke it off ...
Also, I dunno how to say this more plainly ... whatever happened, WHATEVER TURN THE STORY TOOK, was the CVs doing, not the characters ...
I dunno WHY ppl are wasting their energy hating on fictional characters ... It's like saying my 5 yr old would go hate the wolf in the Red Riding Hood, so much so that he'd go call it bad words ... if that ever happened, I'd think something was seriously wrong with his head ... It's fiction ppl.
And for those who say young girls are obsessed with the 'fictional characters' and that justifies the name calling, bashing, hating on the characters - IMHO, those girls are lacking guardianship and guidance. If they're obsessed with these fictional characters, their parents need to take them in. If they're dreaming about vulgarity, their friends, most probably, need to be changed also. I don't see how that justifies bringing down DMG ... If it's that offensive a show, stop watching it. But it's not the reason we have obsessive fans committing suicide - that's because we have parents who don't do justice to parenting. I'm not saying I'm a great parent, not by a long shot. But I pray my children NEVER EVER idolize someone from the entertainment, sports, media world. So lets not put the blame at the feet of a fictional show instead of where it belongs.
Disclaimer - I'm not stating the above coz I'm a DMG fan, I'm not. I'd say I stopped being one after KaSu got officially together when the father caved in. But unfair is unfair, and I feel that the show can't be held responsible for the lack of guardianship, morals, and responsibility in our society.
BTW - what's VERRRRYYYY interesting is that _some_ of the ppl crying morals are the same ones who want Geet to have a miscarriage or an abortion ... just so she can have a happy life with her man. And when I pointed out that it sounded immoral ... well guess what line I got ... 'it's fiction!!!!' I couldn't stop laughing ... morals I tell you ... a luxury for some, but politics for most ... reality for a very few.
