:-) actually 13-14 yr old girls / kids demanding a sex scene (tho distasteful to many) is not so unnatural... They've entered puberty, their hormones are starting to play up, and for most of them sexual energy (which is a physical reality not an opinion or an imagination ;-)) release is sought vicariously cos most of them (thankfully) dont have the ability to do so otherwise.... And that is not opinion but scientific fact ;-) .. Walk into a Grade 6 class in metros or in an international school - the conversation might spring a surprise or two ,-)

The fact that they focus on a couple's consumation be it AR and SR is tragic yes, not fr wanting the consumation per se but fr the fact that they have precious little to occupy their interest! The fact that they're here fr a better part of the day, have timeto sign countless petitions, make zillions of posts etc indicates a sad lack of anything else to do :-)

I think there is a difference between becoming aware of one's own sexuality and the opposite sex, and thriving upon wet dreams about a fictional couple? to hell with the storyline, they'd be happy as long as the creatives are feeding them with ample 'hot' scenes. why not just go and watch po*n instead?
I'm aware of how the 6th graders talk, and would I be surprised to know that they know everything there is to know about sex? no, but would I be surprised to hear them drooling over a AR's hot sex scene and demanding for more? yes, I defenitely would be.
the fact that these girls are obsessed to the point that petitions are being made scares me. I don't think that obsession is a part of growing up too, is it? the last time I saw such mindless fanaticism was amongst twilight fangirls who simply couldn't wait for edward and bella to sleep together and produce a baby.

i have a dumb question after reading all these posts ...

Did they imply/show/insinuate that AR actually did it? I mean, did she really cheat on Sid? Coz from what little I saw, she went up to him thinking it was Sid ... but didn't they break it off when she saw a ring/kara/or something on her hand?

So ... I was wondering why ppl are calling her names when she broke it off ...

Also, I dunno how to say this more plainly ... whatever happened, WHATEVER TURN THE STORY TOOK, was the CVs doing, not the characters ...

I dunno WHY ppl are wasting their energy hating on fictional characters ... It's like saying my 5 yr old would go hate the wolf in the Red Riding Hood, so much so that he'd go call it bad words ... if that ever happened, I'd think something was seriously wrong with his head ... It's fiction ppl.

And for those who say young girls are obsessed with the 'fictional characters' and that justifies the name calling, bashing, hating on the characters - IMHO, those girls are lacking guardianship and guidance. If they're obsessed with these fictional characters, their parents need to take them in. If they're dreaming about vulgarity, their friends, most probably, need to be changed also. I don't see how that justifies bringing down DMG ... If it's that offensive a show, stop watching it. But it's not the reason we have obsessive fans committing suicide - that's because we have parents who don't do justice to parenting. I'm not saying I'm a great parent, not by a long shot. But I pray my children NEVER EVER idolize someone from the entertainment, sports, media world. So lets not put the blame at the feet of a fictional show instead of where it belongs.

Disclaimer - I'm not stating the above coz I'm a DMG fan, I'm not. I'd say I stopped being one after KaSu got officially together when the father caved in. But unfair is unfair, and I feel that the show can't be held responsible for the lack of guardianship, morals, and responsibility in our society.

BTW - what's VERRRRYYYY interesting is that _some_ of the ppl crying morals are the same ones who want Geet to have a miscarriage or an abortion ... just so she can have a happy life with her man. And when I pointed out that it sounded immoral ... well guess what line I got ... 'it's fiction!!!!' I couldn't stop laughing ... morals I tell you ... a luxury for some, but politics for most ... reality for a very few.

Well I am an ArSh fans and I wanted to say something.....yes it is the fans fault but ur forgetting that the scrpt was also poorly executed which left the fans frustrated cuz at start they wre giving SR and later AR....why the second marriage....so many questions hang and yet no answers...frustration will get out in somehting
but that is not the only reason why i despise Ridz character now (I have never called her those words or even close...the max I have called her is confuse...just for the clarification)....The reason that I despise her character is because it is very unrealistic.....for me....I mean if I had to pick between lover and Sid then I wud have picked my hubby and not because of the world but because of myself....it has nothing to do with concsious but my sanskaar and ethics...for me I wud have been with my hubby and I wud have fallen for him by now...not cuz my love wudnt be as true as Ridz...NO but cuz that is realistic....it has been psychologically proven...and I know myself...if i let myself move on then I will...the point is she only kept on saying that she will move on but never did...and I am not like that,,,if i decide something then i wud definitely do it and that is the reason her character intrigues me and leaves me speechless in ways I cant understand....and wht sympathy are you asking? She is aredy ending up with Armaan...so Sid is the one in need of sympathy..no? We wud sympathize if there was a reason but sympathizing just cuz she is feeling guilty?? ummm....I dont think anyone can justify her with a logical reason except love is above all....I am sorry to bust any1's bubble but love is really not all there is to life and if love can feed, work, educate then no one wud have to find time to love...they wud have to find time to actually work! so tht is why this was the most unrealistic thing to me!
U asked the question and I gave it but If in any way I offended you then I am sorry!
