Urgghhhh- posting this after watching the epi and picking myself off the floor after seeing Avdesh šŸ˜†. Thought for the millionth time how horrible and sleazy Pappu and his father's jodi is. The way they talk about their (respective) to be wife and to be daughter in law, the way they were dancing with the girl who was performing, the way they do anything- disgusting. Similarly, to be fair, Khadoos and his sons are no better. Imagine not protesting or saying anything when someone is talking about your daughter/ sister in the terms that Pappu and his Dad were before the Panditji- cheee 🤢🤢🤢.
Cannot wait for the "dishum-dishum" tomorrow šŸ‘

Sona- seriously how sick can you get?! I mean the irony is clear- these are the so called "educated" set who are demanding dowry and being so disrespectful. One hopes that it doesn't happen in real life but of course most shows, films etc are based on real life and it is scary to think that people who society "approves" off as respectable think like cavemen even today!

unfortunately shruti, it seems that is how it happens in much of north india and in UP and bihar. have u noticed how they treat their women...i knew there was corruption , also backwardness, but unfortunately education has to mean something more than just a degree. it must mean a way of thinking, only then it can get better. avdhesh is probably not that educated , and he is a goon, but he has much more class and character than any of these sleaze balls....seriously, i cant watch this anymore...

Yes, you are right and I think it is a good lesson being taught through the story here- that just a degree or a "respectable" job does not make a person worthwhile. I also noticed in Pratigya and also in some films about these areas in particular but the issues are also prevalent in many places in Gujarat- where my family come from. Clearly, there will be people like this everywhere and I even know families who live here in the UK who would think it acceptable to beat your wives and daughters into submission. Makes you feel really angry.

I agree with you guys! Its absolutely disgusting the way women are treated in some places.

Cant they c that it is because of women that this whole cycle of human life continues and they treat them like DIRT!
I hope a person who mistreats their daughters and wife sees this episode and feels disgusted and ashamed of his own actions.
But the sad thing is that its not only men who do this sort of thing even WOMEN DO IT TO WOMEN (hint: bahuji).
Its not about education its about MORALS AND DISCIPLINE which every human should have!

Hi, just watched the show loved it and hated it. Loved it due to Avita, great filmy directions, liked the song surrounding the scenes. Loved Avdesh all hot and bothered. šŸ˜³šŸ˜†
šŸ˜†

Hated it as Pappu took too much screen space and totally agree with the above, the guy is just too disgusting for words.😔 Then again I thought Aprita's father looked a bit pissed with Pappu when he was talking about hurrying the wedding so he can get on to the night, Yuck! I think I'm going to be sick. Cant wait for tomorrow, want to see him get knocked out. Please Avdesh give him a good bashing.😃

ashu, the usual yaar. Disgusting creep pappu was eager for his suhaag raat(me retching), he was telling the priest to hurry up with the rituals as he couldn't wait!!! His dad was telling him to be patient and the dialogues were truly disgusting as suits their characters. You have to watch, you'll see what we mean straightaway.
