My take on Tumhari Disha - 18th May '05

Thanks jingle for the complete update.
With respect to serials, when you take one step forward in the next episode you take several steps backwards.(I learnt this one from jingle) yesterday (17 May episode) it was raining romantic scenes but today it rained more sorrows..

The initial scenes were shown in mute...the DK-Dish chemistry is actually better when shown in mute...though there were some occasional jerks (read it as uncomfortable glances. aware of the camera) but overrall it was a smooth ride...I really liked the dialogue that because of Dk's zid (stubbornness) and Dish's nafrat (hatred) they are so much in love today. Yes there is a thin line between hate and love..you never know when you will cross the line as in both the cases you constantly think of the other person....(philosopher Swathi at her best)

Inder is starting to show traits of Shahrukh as in Darr...soon he may be saying DiDiDissshhhhaa everytime...The way he goes on a rampage when he hears those roadside romeos talking bad of Dish...Rano why dint u get the hint ??? Though he understands that Rano is his wife and his duty is towards her but it seems that he thinks abt Dish whenever he is with Rano (how dumb !!!..Inder get on with life,) He finally promises that he will get back Disha at any cost....beginning of the negative Inder....

Sukanya is actually saying that Dish did a bad thing by marrying DK (Hamari ghar ki betiyan aisi nahin karti. Translation: Our daughters will never do this type of a thing). and funny part is Suhas also seems to agree with this. Looks like Sukanya has selective amnesia...If Dish had not married DK Bhonsles will never be living in this house and all said and done DK was the one who repaid all the loans of Bhonsle house....

The final scene was well edited (you will understand when you actually view the episode). Suhas is confroting Dish on one side and Sum is speaking with DK on the other. Sum is telling DK that he has got an excellent wife and he should be happy and so on (see the irony..DK has indeed got an excellent wife in Dish but Sum is referring to Pori). On the other hand Suhas is mentioning that DK is no good and so on (As all screen mums don't understand their children she is also no good). What I liked was the difference. Similiar confrontations. But Sum was calm while Suhas was agitated. Dk and Sum are seated calmly while talking while Dish wasjust entering the house when Suhas also stood up and speaking as soon as she enters...It is just DK and Sum while the whole family is gathered in Bhonsle house....Sum is mentioning that DK's wife is goody goody while Suhas says that DK is not good.... Also Suhas gives an ultimatum to Dish while Sum is actually worried abt DK and asks his wish(see the difference)... Am not sure if I have been able to explain the scene properly but I somehow liked this crisp editing. (I wonder even if the Dir of the show intended it this way or if am just reading too much between the lines.) Finally both of them think to themselves of what they actually need/wish (DK wishes for Dish and Dish thinks of DK) and the screen divides into half with both DK and Dish on either sides and episode ends.

There was a dialogue (when Sum is asking DK abt he wants and all) when DK says that he will marry Pori but....I thought that there may be a catch here like he may buy for some time or something like that...as expected I was once again reading between the lines and that but somehow vanished (Did I miss any scene jingle,,let me know...)..We also got to know what DK is afraid of when Sum comes to know of the truth....that she may die of shock...but I think that rather than delaying it till the end he can divulge it now itself...more the delay the quantum of shock will also increase....

and yes it was wrong on Dish's part not to inform of her whereabouts and staying out the whole night. She should have been careful.

Now off to my questions

• Will both DK and Dish bow to their respective mothers' wishes today (DK agreeing to marry Pori and Dish choosing to be away from DK)
• What will Inder do to get back Dish in his life ? (Will he ever realize that Dish was infatuated with him but loves DK now)
• Will Rano ever get to know the truth of Inder and Dish ?
• Will Ved misunderstand DK (for agreeing to marry Pori )

PS: We also got to see that Dish knows how to drive a car. While returning to Bhonsle house she drove the car herself.

1) No why should they DK AND DISHA are meant to be toghter no matter what they will get toghter their mums are the worst ppl in their life making it hell i swear motheers are suppose to give their kids the most happiness their runing their children's lifes can't they just go sit down watch tv or do some mother like things and stop wrecking dk and disha's already messed up life for once.

2) Lol if he doesn't find out soon i am gonna go up screen and slap him one so hard he will forget disha only joking guys soz i am gettin realli angry. Well he betta or else all i know is it ain't gonna be good for him. Disha is not his but DK's and that title song is not meant for him but for DK disha neva loved him it was just a crush that they wanted to make a serious relationship I hope Rano finds out and explain to Inder that Disha is married Now and she can't be he's or the child comes out earlier so that disha wiolll come out of that direction which is disha's obbesion.

3) I hope she does then she can tell Inder that Disha loves Dk and that is not his property so he should keep his "Hands off"

4) Mabey mabey nto because DK mite tell him the whole truth buut Vedant always misunderstands someway or the other so he will but then somehow everything will be set right

I was eagerly waiting for our take on the episode and thanks again for a brilliant analysis..

I want to make a couple of points here as suhas is doing the same thing again to disha she is ignorant of the fact that her daughter is in love with DK and becos of what suhas did in the past to disha she is trying to put ti right but at what cost she is forcing her and again asking her to choose between her husband who she dearly loves and her aai who is feels she can't say no too. Ithink Suhas have never really understood what her daughter wanted as she was never very close to her until disha's father died and when suhas realised what she had done she started to mend her relationship with Disha but she is forcing her again to forget the perosn she loves and choose her..I just hope suhas one days can see what she is putting disha through as poor thing has always lived to other people's wishes...

Coming to ep i think again the best part has got to be the last scene as swathi mentions edited well and how they make the decision of listening to their hearts rather than others. I think they will be driven to mandaps to marry others but ofcourse it won't happen as i keep saying gargi or ved are my trump cards..They will make it really melodramtic and emotional and ofcourse lots of rona dhona..

Inder i think he is a loser as his father keeps saying disha has moved on and he is still at square one but tough as disha has moved on but i feel sorry for poor rano as she is pregnantbut inder is defo going the dar way i agree swathi one day he will be writing disha's name in blood on his hand i can see it coming..

Ved will think Dk is back to pori that is the only way they can bring in the angle of ved marrying disha otherwise they won't have shown this little misunderstanding..

For Inder going nuts over Disha, I have to say that it is understandable. I can see some attacks coming my way.. 😳 but here are my 2 cents anyway. Whether Disha loved him or not is a different story, but he really loved her! It's one thing to loose your first love but then have to marry her sister is just plain evil! I mean imagine the torture he's living by being with Rano who constantly reminds him of Disha!!! So I can understand why he wants Disha back. Although I don't agree with it because he is married to Rano and try to forget about it and go after Disha's love...

As for Disha, we all know that when women love, we love without holding anything back. So, Disha might have loved Inder at one point but now she loves her husband DK & only DK! And Inder needs to realize that.. so for me, I'm enjoying this storyline cuz maybe this will lead to some confrontational scenes between DK & Inder. Rano will find out soon.. I can't believe that she hasn't still!!

Anyway, sorry for the long post.. but had to say it.. 😳

I don't see TD these days, strange, considering that it was because of TD that I got to meet all of you! But I really don't see how my viewing TD or not being able to post TD related post will affect my relationship with all of you! I hope I am not incorrect😊

I am not very frequent on the Forum these days, because I don't have a Comp with me and have to go to the Net Cafe everytime, and that's quite a hassle!!!

Coming back to TD, I remember the inital days (somewhere last September or so) when I used to post updates on Bollyteens, I had done a Predictions Post and the other members had joined in the fun and we had predicted how DK and Disha will finally fall in love with one another - it is so uncanny and in a way very funny, that in one of the predictions (don't remember who it was) it had described DK & Disha's meeting & confessing their love in a rain-drenched night😆 And this prediction was made at a time, when the serial had barely begun! Now I know where the Guhas had got the ideas from!

Well done once again Swathi! You guys make reading such a pleasure, browsing through your analysis is just like reading and re-reading an old-favourite classic!

Inder bunder is soon going to tell Rano or rano may find out abt D & I love- story!! That will be one ugly and knotty twist.

But D will very clearly dismiss Inder.Dood mai makhi ki tarah nikal kar phek degi.Then Inder may try to commit suicide & may even succeed & go to heaven & sing jingle with Vijendra! Aur may come back as bhoot tho take revenge from D. Now story turning horror from romantic see that's how they plan to drag...........................(sorry swathi!) lol

I have all my hopes on Ved. He is already transforming into laxman so he will be instrumental in bringing the 2 D's together. will not go against DK.

i think rano will surely find out about dish/inder soon, its been dragged on 4 too long now it seems inevitable at this point what with Inder making such blunders she will surely put 2 & 2 together.........

inder can try as hard as he likes but dish will most certainly not go back 2 him (even if Rano does die)............our Lady D is now fully smitten by dk & she may b separated from him but will never leave him 4 some1 else.........

i think ved will b instrumental in clearing all misunderstandings.........surely thats the role he will play in dish/dk's life..........poor chap hope he is able 2 solve the mysteries of his own luv life & i really really hope a new female character is brought in2 his life cos he deserves way better than Pori..........

unless Rano makes Disha promise her to marry Inder right before she's about to die 😳 hoping this doesn't happen but we know how these kasams cause toofans

well swathi dk told sumitra that he will fulfill her wish(marrying pari)

intially both dk and disha will go in the path shown by their mom's.

inder has gone mad better he be sent to the mental asylum, anyways suhas will find a right medicine to his problem.

rano might come to know about disha and inder which might lead to her miscarriage and the credit will mostly go to sukanya and sanya

well there will be misunderstanding between vedanth and dk intially which i hope will get resolved later
