DV, definitely.
Ranveer was a nice touch, though I still can't figure out why he was and is still harped on as 'Ronnie' in several places. After a little while to establish that he was 'Ronnie', he and everyone else only called him 'Ranvir'. The nickname was jarringly out of place, as the character's humour was subtle, and his easygoing approach very much controlled.
But Sharad Kelkar excelled in both roles.
I couldn't stop smiling through the bizarre explanation in BP of how DV and Ronnie were the same person...because it meant there was no other choice that could take Amoli away from DV. It was DV all the way.
