It was a triple treat of celebrity revving up fashion… and expectedly, it brought the house down. Lucky onlookers at Karan Johar and Varun Bahl's show at the HDIL India Couture Week… had a chic blast, when Shah Rukh Khan, flanked by Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan did a jig on the ramp!
When Hrithik opened the show, excitement peaked; when Amitabh Bachchan (dark glasses, coat) showed up the viewers went ballistic with glee… and when the duo strode towards a seated SRK and pulled him onto the ramp, they brought the house down!
On SRK's insistence, the trio did an impromptu jig of their trademark moves… to a thunderous applause even as a stunned K Jo beamed away at pulling off this fashion high.
States Karan in a media talk, "I can ask these people to walk for me, because they are like family. I'm incredibly comfortable with them, so there is no hesitation. Amitabh Bachchan is the most stylish man in the industry and I saw no reason why he shouldn't be on the ramp."
K Jo asserts that co designer Varun did lay down some dikats before the aces graced the ramp. "Varun is a veteran in this field and he told them that they could not waive to their families or smile while walking the ramp."
The spontaneous move fetches high marks for K Jo who states that he wasn't in the bit upset at Khan being pulled on to the ramp.
"Not at all," he states. "Once you've done your job as a model, you can take your place as a member of the industry."
