My views on Sangini -- Story of Gauri and Rudra

Hi all:

I have been visiting this forum for quite a while.. and only see that some people want Rudra with Pihu and some want Rudra with Gauri..

I really do not understand this dilemma.. because by the title of the show and the theme of the show it is clearly evident that this story is the story of Gauri who is going to be a sangini of Rudra out of sanjog..

Yes the story start with Rudra being in love with Pihu whom he has knows since his childhood. They were about to get married but some how Rudra gets mad at Pihu and slaps her and Pihu at the last moment cancells the wedding...

I am not at all in favor of hitting the woman...

But what I have seen so far in Pihu is that Pihu gets satisfaction in making Rudra mad.. She some how wants to keep him teasing and see the possesiveness of Rudra but than she does not want herself to be in the middle of the path of that rage...

Rudra on the other side loves Pihu but he really gets irritated by all her techniques of making him jealous or angry. He really does not want to do that but somehow he gets irritated and angry and than he just looses his sanity.. and than starts the childish behavior of Rudra and Pihu... and they not only get both the family involved in that but other people and society too...

If Pihu really loves Rudra and want to spend her life with him than she will have to firm in her decision and stand on it.. but she is not firm as she actually does not respect Rudra enough to trust him with her life. She always finds fault with everything Rudra does.. and that means that she does not trust him enough or his decision or his actions.. In this kind of circumstances she better not get pair with Rudra as she will never be happy with him..

Where as the story of Gauri is totally different.. her relation with Rudra has started with friendship. Where both of them try to understand each other more over they trust each other and they try to respect and honor each other's decision.. and that I would say is the better base to build up your relation...

Aditi as Pihu is doing great job and it seems that they have shown the chemistry between these two characters and people want to see it more..

but on the other hand.. the chemistry between gauri and Rudra is different kind... it is on the friendship and has not reached the level of love so we do not see the same chemistry of Pihu and Rudra.. but this story is not of the story of Pihu and Rudra but it is the story of Rudra and Gauri.. that how being such a girl who is not at all in the status of Rudra's family... and is being treated as the servant by Rudra's family becomes the sangini of Rudra..

I think Aditi is portraying pihu very well but at the same time Binny is doing phenomenal job in portraying a poor struggling girl who always is eagar to help all around her eventhough many misunderstand her..

IMO... I find it very interesting that how in the world this humble low status girl would come in Rudra's life as his sangini... The way Rudra's mom is treating this one simpe girl I am really intrigue to know how in the world this girl can come in Rudra's life and change him completely and how she is going to deal with all these egoistic and proud people around her and how she is going to make her place in Rudra's heart...

Would like to know your thoughts too...

I ... actually salute you for having the guts to make such a post. 😆😆

now I don't know what kind of response you will get, but many here, are supporting you too. I am a fan of additi, and understand to some extent as to why they want ag so much as the lead and paired with MIK. but leaving the actors aside, like rach had mentioned, the show can't run with the base of actors they need to stick to their story! changing the story and giving other actors a more prominent role than the original lead ones will completely ruin the show.

most importantly ... what will we learn and gain out of rudra & pihu's relationship?? what will rudra & pihu gain?? it will just be a lifetime full of anger, fighting, stubbornness. - complete chaos if we go by their characters, and I do not want to see that. both rudra and pihu can't even understand the other so how will they be able to carry out a lifetime worth of commitment to one another??

on the other hand, gauri settles rudra. she can keep him in his place and he respects her too. they both respect each other and that is very important in any relationship which I don't think rudra & pihu have much ... and this respect for one another, and this base of trust they have for one another will gradually turn into love and that is how you can take it forward and be with your sangini the rest of your life! rudra and pihu's relationship started out with friendship also ... but I think they both are confused because they have been with each other for so long, they think they love each other?

abhay also suits pihu. he can keep her balanced and they will also have a healthy relationship in the future. but I do not at all think rudra & pihu are compatible for one another. the relationship will just not work out, their views are completely different.

It's like Pihu thrives on Rudra's attention and get bored without it. She can be quiet manipulative about it too. Like she hurts him in order to test his love for her, so seeing his anger and jealousy makes her happy. Wonder if Pihu is deep down an insecure girl😕...but they haven't really explained anything.

No relations works without little balance in them , Ruhu lack many things ,there is nothing gud in their relations which can go anyone awe over them apart chemistry............

Rudra -Gauri :- there is maturity in their relation, G understands him and R respects her .. and more imp they Trust each other yes they had fight over misunderstanding but misunderstandings bring ppl close, they dont push them away like Ruhu's case ...... P's behaviour pushes R into darkness where as G she brings him out of darkness ...they r each others strengths and they complete each other , Gauri brings maturity and makes him responsible in life where as Rudra will standing for her respect and support her

Pihu -Abhay :- P is sweet gal , who want her partner to be responsible , Rudra will be but still he will give into her tantrums ,and at times shows anger and end up messing their relation but abhay a calm person , he is matured enough to know how to handle situations and Pihu .... well i dont blame him for keeping conditions in front of P family , well he is human and his family was humiliated too

and who knows may be Pihu and ABhay will have rocking chemistry ?? but they balance each other .......

I am not sure about what response I will get for this post but I thoght I will put it anyway as I think I have given logical point of views and may be people may like it.... but I will welcome any kind of veiws as this is an open forum and every one has their personal views.. only I just cannot take if some one diminish or badmouth the actors becasue I think we have no right to insult their talents.

Yes I have been watching the sangini and also was coming to the forum and saw all these different kind of posts which were not at all par with the story line..

I got little confused and than saw the parts and development of the story line.. that the story started with one love story which is not stable but too volatile and is moving towards another love story which is in the development stage and the characters themselves are not aware that it will be a love story between Rudra and Gauri as right now the story is developing on the friendship...

I was surprised to find that the show just came on the air recently but there is a division among the viewers.. and it is not speically for the character but for the actors...

I think when the directors and the production team put their head together for this story and signed on these actors.. They difinitely knew which actor would be able to do which role...

I think all the actors are doing great in their perspective roles... So why these division about the actors...

I think Aditi is fantastic as Pihu and Binny is fantastic as Gauri.. And MIK is great as Rudra... So now if casting director thought to cast these actors in those roles than why don't we accept that?? Why do we want to change the story line per the actors...

The show is not about the actors it is about the characters and those actors make those characters alive... They have to mold themselves in the character not the other way around...

IMO... I really would like to see how the story is developed and how all these actor do their part and work hard to bring us what director and the story writer wants us to see...

Guys it is only less than 50 episode in the air.. Let's see how RR is planning and what.. and why in the world she is so much after Gauri to put her down in each and every corner... How Gauri is going to survive all the bitter talk and barbs.. and how dear Rudra will come to her aid and when will be the time when rudra will decide to pull gauri out of her humiliation by making her his sangini.. and how that will be done and what will be the over all effects of such actions...

And how Pihu is going to go ahead in her life... Is she willing to let go Rudra's nature and live on his love for her or she is going to go ahead in her life the way her parents wants her to go...

I agree with you eva. even I want to see how this story will go forward when it comes to R, G & RR. I really do not want the storyline to be changed only because people demanded of this & that ... it's a great concept and cvs can do full justice to it given the correct time and if all the viewers of sangini can watch the show without picking out every little fault of it and bashing it everyday ... we can actually have some fun on this forum.

ag is doing great as pihu and I prefer to see her as pihu than see her as gauri. and like I have been saying, being the lead or being paired with the lead actor isn't everything. she can gain a lot of experience from enacting the character of pihu. abhay & pihu also make a cute couple and as a fan of hers, I would happily like to watch her do this ... why can't the rest of the fans think the same? 😔

just leave the show as it is ... the story as we already know, is about RG, we cannot force our views on anyone and in the future maybe harm the storyline. let the show progress how it is..the show truly has talent and I am sure it can prove itself given the correct time.

people need to understand that it is not only about the actors. pihu and rudra just do not match!! it will not be logical at all to pair them up, the relationship will only be chaos in the future.

lets keep watching the show as it is ... and see how the cvs answer all our questions regarding rudra, gauri & pihu ...

Thank you all for you responses.. I am glad that you guys agree with what I said..

My thing is I just want to see what the director and writers have in their mind about this show.. Interrupting in their creation may create havoc at final stage.. Cause they are in the business for many years and they definitely know what they are doing...

My request to all is that let's watch it as they want to show it..

The bottom line is when these actors must have signed the contracts.. They definitely knew what role they will be playing and what potential it has.. These are smart people and they know what they are doing... So who are we to interfere in their decisions or work schedule???

Aditi and MIK both are seasoned actors and they definitley know what role they were given and after giving some thoughts they have agreed to play the role.. So if they are happy with it than where is the question of us objecting and changing..

Binny is new comer she is a great dancer and hence she has great potential with her expressive face and I am so proud of her that she was specially selected for this role where she will play against the seasoned actor like MIK and the veteran actress like Aruna Irani.. and I think she is doing great job.. Kudos to her for learning so fast...

Nice topic!.

I must say that I started watching the show because of Additi but the show has not been able to get me hooked.

Besides the fact that there are so many holes in the story, the concept is not very appealing to me.

Love stories are meant to be magical and his is not a love story at all. It is all about Gauri's struggles and the loves story is just by the way; how she helps a friend who just happens to be a guy. Even Rudra's character is not well defined; he has just been put in the story to show all of Gauri's sacrifice. There is nothing exciting about their love story.

My views have nothing to do with me having started watching the show for Additi. I think that for a newcomer, Binny is doing a good job portryaing Gauri.

It is the ill-defined story, the boring characters, and the plot which is about a friendship that just seems too sur real if not impossible in real life.

People should be careful not to take every view about this show to be for/against Ruhu or Rugu.

All three of them are in the same canoe and they all drown if their canoe capsizes; at different times each one of them will be rowing more than the other, but they are all needed to get the canoe to the shore.

quite frankly i don't understand why they had ruhu in the first place. i mean if the story is raga, then so be it. just get on with it. no need to keep apologetically adding pihu like a dash of salt to the dish. it's not a question of additi doing a good job, it's a question of good use of characters. if you don't want to use them, then don't introduce them. simple.

I started watching Sangini with zero exposure to any of its stars previously, whatever interest I developed is purely from watching Sangini so far. I cannot imagine a story with Rudr and Pihu, makes no sense to me. To me this story is about Rudr and Gauri. When I read the view in this thread that a love story has to be magical and there is nothing exciting in Raga, all I can say is the real love story has not started yet and when it happens it will be magical and it will be exciting. I love the fact that they are not jumping straight into love but starting with more firm foundation of friendship and understanding between the couple.

Coming to Pihu, Pihu is an important part of the story but not "the" important part. Eventhough the current track is not focusing on Pihu I am sure we will see more of Pihu in future tracks. Now to address the question of why there should be a Ruhu when the story is about Raga , my only response is there is no Raga unless there was a Ruhu once.

Sanjog Se Bane sangini is not a story of two childhood friends coming from similar background living happily ever after, it is the story of two people from opposite backgrounds who are incomplete in their own ways coming together by Sanjog and finding happiness in each other and making each other complete.
