Murray Not Attending Collectormania

Contrary to a previous report, Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan) has updated his site to say that he will not be attending Collectormania 9 in Milton Keynes. Thanks John!

Lewis Also Unconfirmed for Collectormania 9

In the second such rebuttal today, Matt Lewis's (Neville Longbottom) parents have told TLC that as of right now, he has not been approached to attend Collectormania 9 in Milton Keynes. The organizers of this event announced that Matt, along with Devon Murray, Robert Pattinson and James and Oliver Phelps were slated to appear; Devon refuted the announcement earlier today as well. This is not to say the actors won't be approached in the future, but don't buy tickets based on these guys attending, yet.

Cast-Signed Copy of GoF Auctioned for 2100

Previously, we told you about a rare copy of the book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, signed by the cast of the Harry Potter film, that was being auctioned online by the UK's National Literacy Trust. The Evening Times reports today that the book has been sold for 2100. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Reading is Fundamental UK, which encourages poor children to read.

J.K.Rowling Donates Painted Egg for Charity

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has donated a ceramic egg as part of a fundraiser for charity. This egg, which was painted by Jo, is among many items to be part of an auction with proceeds to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland. Others who contributed to this auction include actor Ewan McGregor and authors Ian Rankin, and Alexander McCall Smith. TheEdinburgh Evening news reportsthat the charity dinner and auction will hopefully " raise between 5000 and 10,000 for the society. At least 150 guests are expected to attend. " The event is being held this Sunday, March 26th, in Edinburgh, Scotland.
