'Chandu? Chandu?' Daadi kept on calling for Chandu while trying to hold Geet who lay unconscious in her lap. 'Ma'am, what happened?' Chandu offered the glass of water he brought to her. Daadi spilled some water onto Geet's face and patted her cheeks with trembling fingers 'Geet bte, please open your eyes, I didn't intend to hurt you dear.' Geet opened her eyes slowly and saw Daadi smiling at her 'thank God that you are fine' Daadi kissed on her forehead and helped her to get up with the huge belly.

Geet started to walk away but the dizziness made her to stop and hold on the swing. 'Geet, what happened?'Daadi reached her hand out to Geet 'bete, please sit down for a while and then we will go inside. You cannot walk in this situation' Daadi made Geet to sit on the swing. 'Ok, now take deep breaths slowly' Geet become much well when she followed Daadi's advice.

'Why does this happen to us, Daadima?' Geet asked Daadi when she was able to talk. Daadi was stunned at Geet's question and her heart skipped a beat; thinking about Geet's condition. She felt guilty for revealing Maan's past in front of Geet, but she was helpless then. What will be Maan's reaction when he comes to know that she has told everything to Geet? How would Geet behave with Maan now? Scary thoughts gathered into her old mind, but she would not lose hope and will be the pillar for her grandson and daughter-in-law. She has to be strong for her family, like she has been before. 'You are worrying too much, Geet. You need to think about the baby now and everything will be fine in a while, have faith on Maan, he will make everything fine' Daadi assured geet with her courageous and confident words.

Maan came into the room after office and noticed the darkness in the room. 'Geet?' He called for her but there was no response. He lit the room and saw it was empty. He ran down stairs calling out her name but she wasn't there. 'Chandu, did you see Geet?' He asked from the faithful servant and ran to the garden. 'Geet? Geet, where are you?' He stretched out his hands and called out her name again 'Geeeeet?'

Geet, who was sitting in the garden, heard him calling out her name. The urge and concern in his voice proved the depth of his love for her. She rose from her seat and looked at her husband 'Maan?' she murmured his name as he approached to her. He held her shoulders firmly, unable to believe that it was her voice he heard from the dark. He drew her closer to him to view her clearly 'Geet, you scared me' he embraced her in his arms. Geet held him back, trying her best not to show him the disturbance in her. 'Come on, you need to get ready now' he led her towards the house.

Maan drove Geet to the park and helped her to get out of the car. 'Geeeeet' he called for Geet, who has started walking without doing any stretching. 'What happened now?' Geet stopped holding her waist with her arms. Maan ran to her and giggled 'Geet, you need to do some stretching before you walk' he managed to tell between his laughter. Geet frowned at him as she started her self talk'hey Babaji, what am I going to do now? How can I do any stretching in this condition?' Maan pulled out her arm slowly 'Geet, Babaji can't come to help you now, I can help you to stretch.' Geet managed to do some stretching with the help of him before she started to walk.

'Geet?' Maan called her while walking. 'Geeeet?' He repeated again as she didn't bother to answer him before. 'What have I missed now, Mr. Gynecologist?' Instead of answering him, she asked a question. 'Ok, ma'am now look, you need to look forward while walking' he helped her to lift her chin and patted her back to help her to stand straight. Geet shook her head and smiled at him thinking how much he has changed for her; a man, who hated women to the core, has fallen so much into a girl-woman like her.

Geet sat in the car silently while Maan drove her back home. Maan kept on glancing at her, but she was lost in her own world. 'Geet?' his voice was gentle but she did not hear him. 'Geet?' he called her louder this time and stopped the car. 'Is there anything wrong?' he asked her trying to read the mixed expression in her eyes. 'Geet? Tell me, what is wrong?' he shook her shoulders and dragged her to him at once. Geet heard the quickening beats of his heart and lifted her chin to see his worried face.

'Why are you so good to me? Haven't you ever got hurt?' Geet asked him caressing his jaw line. Maan was taken in surprise with her question 'what kind of question is it, Geet?' he questioned her back. 'I know you are tensed as the time is running out' he tried to distract her thinking cupping her face with his hands. Geet smiled wryly at him as he started the car.

Geet and Maan came down stairs for dinner and noticed Daadi's absence 'Geet, you sit here, I will call Daadima' Maan helped Geet to sit on the couch and went to Daadi. Geet sat on the chair obeying him like how a student would obey the teacher and nodded her head in agreement.

'Daadima? Daadima, where are you?' Maan called Daadi while entering her room. He found her asleep and thought he should not disturb her as she too needs to get some rest. Little did he know that apart from being an old experienced lady, Savitri Devi still knows how to avoid problems? She opened her eyes as soon as Maan closed the door behind him and murmured to herself 'Maan, I'm doing this for you and Geet.'

Geet tried to get up from the couch when she saw Maan approaching to her, alone. She was just about to collapse; Maan ran to her and held her waist. 'Be careful Geet, and take it easy' he helped her to stand and then helped her to walk to the dining table. He made sure that she was comfortable before they started to have dinner together. 'Geet, did you take the medicine today?' he questioned her while offering her medicines. Geet remembered that she forgot to take the medicine as she was disturbed thinking about his past. She looked at him sadly and shook her head, scared that he would get angry at her. 'I don't mind you taking medicine but it isn't only for you, at least for our baby you should have taken it, Geet' Maan tried not to pressure her too much, but the words escaped from his mouth. His statement made her eyes watery, thinking about the unconditional love he has for her. She knew that he was the best thing ever happened to her.
