Hey,
First of all: I have stopped watching almost all Indian shows.. lost interest all of a sudden! n now that Ian Somerhalder is my new ❤️ so I don't think there's any chance that I'll resume watching Pratigya or Geet or Tere Liye 😛
Since a couple of you wanted me to continue the FF, I'll update and will try my best to be regular here! 😊
Here it goes, it is a short one but hope u like it... 😃
Chapter 13:
Krishna saw her reach home safely and he too went back to his adda to grab something to eat.
Tunna n Chandu had been waiting for him, they brought hot samosas and tea and the trio enjoyed the snacks. Tunna noticed how quiet Krishna was and voiced his concern.
K: are hona ka hai, itte dino se Pratigya k aage peeche dol rahe hain, use dhyan hi nahi hai
C: aapne bhi to bhabhi se koi baat nahi ki hai na bhaiya, aap unse milo to sahi
K: baat to sahi hai teri, aaj hi phone karta hu
He couldn't let Tunna n Chandu know what the problem was! He himself wasn't sure why he was so nervous!!
Prats had reached home on time and was contemplating how to break the news that her normal office hours required her to stay till 7pm. She decided that if she convinced and got the support of her father, then it will be easy to persuade dadi too. Prats went to her parent's room where the Prof was resting, she told him the matter and as expected he refused. Leaving office at 7 meant she won't be back before the 7:30pm mark that was set for the girls of the house.
Prof told Prats that he would talk to Mr. Khanna to allow the early time for her, but Pratigya said it wasn't professional.
Aadarsh overheard the convo and came in. 'Papa, zamana itna aage nikal chukka hai, 7:30 koi zyada der nahi ho jati. Aapko theek nahi lagta, to main use lene chala jaunga. Meri office mein to ladkia isse bhi der tak rukti hain…'
Naina too supported Aadarsh saying that Pratigya's job was only till her marriage wasn't fixed and that she will leave her job once she got married… Prof took the responsibility of convincing dadi. Prats was overjoyed, atleast now she won't have to explain to her colleagues why she left early!
Next day, it was the same routine for Pratigya – to leave for her office, same for Krishna – to follow her and keep her away from harm. But, while Pratigya was heading for the bus stop she noticed the same old auto driver who had left without taking money. She rushed towards him before her bus came.
P: uncle, aapne mujhe pehchana? us din aap paise liye bina hi chale gaye, mujhe der ho gai thi bahar aane mein. I'm sorry!
The auto driver was in need of money, he smiled gratefully, and he had almost stretched his hand to take the money but instantly spotted Krishna glaring at him. The man didn't have the courage to defy Krishna Thakur's orders…
He refused Pratigya: dekhiye mujhe school k bacho ko school drop karna hai, abhi jaldi mein hu.
With this he drove off as fast as he could. Pratigya couldn't understand what had just happened!
Before she could give the matter much thought she noticed the bus and rushed in to grab a seat. As always, the bus was crowded. Prats had lost hope of getting to sit, when the conductor came and told a woman, besides whose seat Pratigya was standing, to shift a bit, and make space for Pratigya to sit!
The woman n Prats both were surprised by this, but the conductor was adamant. Krishna hadn't followed Pratigya in the bus today, he needed to go home, but the conductor was following Krishna's orders to make a seat available for Prats.
