The show Dill Mill Gayye aka DMG, which started on 20th August 2007, it was the most popular show back then, it made a lot of TRPs back then, it mesmerised a lot of youth population. I remember I was 13 years old and this was my first ever show which I was so mad and krazzy about, this was like my own show, I had feelings for this show- it was mine- ours.
Our old orignal gang Atul, Anjali, Armaan, Riddhima and Sapna rocked the show completely, that was my D/mg, that was my good old golden everlasting forever DMG. The beautiful story of Armaan and Riddhima enchanted everyone's hosh with the magic of KaSh, just made the show reach its heights. The lovely love story of Atul and Anjali even stole our hearts. But Sapna got married to Amit and left the show. Then came our Rahul and Muskaan- the kankujure love story lolol. This was one of the popular story after our Armaan and Riddhima. Our new gang, Armaan, Riddhima, Atul, Anjali, Rahul and Muskaan- this also rocked the show. It was all amazing. The story was easy going, fun loving with masti, mazak, joy, fun etc... Though as our Shona left the show even loyal KaShians like me also did- the big drop down of the show here.
But KaSu saved the show, then came Abhi, Nikki, their story also rocked. Then there was 4 important couple- Armaan-Riddhima, Muskaan-Rahul, Abhi-Nikki, Atul-Anjali.
The show cntded to rock with the main lead Armaan and Riddhima. It was awsum, amzing i guess (i dunoe cuz I didn't watch it after my KaSh left)
In those days our DMG forum was different, it wasn't anything like this, in those days our DMG was different, nothing like this at all.
The TRPs were also high of this show despite the changes of KaSh, KaSu and KaJen- the views were still obsessed with the show.
But Then came out season 2 of DMG- end of the beautiful story of Armaan and Riddhima.
New interns, JP, Jiggy, Yuvi, Nania, Siddhant, Tamana and Yuvi's sister (sorry don't remember her name) came. The story of Yuvi-Naina and Tamana-Sid started.
The viewers took a bit of time accepting- but the show started to go back to full swing again- high TRPs, fun, masti etc...
Riddhima came back- Siddhant-Riddhima then rocked the show as SR made a beautiful jodi. Then started a new beautiful love story- they became the main leads- over taking Armaan and Riddhima. The TRPs were in full heights back then- Sid and Riddhima got married, started to fall in lov, everything was going perfect, but then came Armaan. The Sid-Riddhima-Armaan triangle started, this was the final end of the masti, fun DMG, because the atmosphere was sad, there were huge issues and problems. But after the Armaan-Sid-Riddhima chaos was over, our KK started LMAO. That was awsum i guess.
After a while SHILPA came back! YAYY! All the KaShians along with JeRanians were over the moon- both for different reasons. JeRan for getting Armaan out of Sid-Riddhima (lol) and KaShians for getting our KaSh back after 2 and half years.
The TRPs shot up extremely high- it was perfect, everything was perfect- ArSh story <3 SR story <3. DMG was again that good old golden DMG, but with new people Armaan, Shilpa, Riddhima and Sid. Everything just rocked. We all loved it, obviously AR fans cntdously wanted AR bck.
Riddhima changed, she fell in love wid sid (i guess) and remarried him <3. Armaan was just getting over Riddhima.
Then came the biggest twist ever in the whole DMG, the whole Armaan-Sid-Riddhima triangle again, but wid a lot mre seriousness, lot more rona dhona, lot lke a typical serial. I am judging anything.
But one thing is for sure both Armaan and Riddhima are different people now. The twist results in TRPs lower than 0.2, the show completely lost its magic dat had been dere 4 all these years. DMG had always been happy, easy going, fun loving, masti-full show full wid love <3, it charmed nearly everyone over all these years. But to be honest the armaan-ridz-sid triangle made all the magic of 3 years go in vain. DMG is ending, but to be honest there seems 2 b a no light of anything. Its completely messed up. They tried experimenting things but this experiment ruined the hard work of whole three years. DMG has always been the most popular show ever, but this current track in my opinion ruined everything. If AR to be united then Riddhima shouldn't have been married they shouldn't have showed any feelings 4 sid frm riddhima's side. DMG made so many mistakes over these years but the show always got its charm, its magic back again, but this whole thing ruined everything.
If ArSh and SR story would have cntded then DMG wuldn't be finished. I am not against AR, of course not! How can i be against AR? Whatever can happen I can never ever be against AR, because my KaSh played AR. Once upon a time all I cared and thought about was AR. For me AR are the most beautiful love story ever so far ever on TV industry. But things have just changed. ArSh and SR were the new light of DMG, they were the entry passes for DMG. But I guess it's all done, it's all finished now.
All I can say is that my DMG is not mine anymre. It hurts me that DMG is abt 2 b over, but current track is messed everything up in my opinion.
