~ Part One ~

The episode begins with Laboni, in Bimal's sweet shop, talking on the phone. Ritesh comes up behind her. She hangs up the phone and turns around, shocked to see Ritesh in front of her. Ritesh tells Laboni that Shekhar has sent him to get sweets. Laboni asks which sweet he wants and he replies whatever is her favourite. She then asks how much he wants and he replies however much she would like. Laboni gets angry and Ritesh says Laboni would know best how much sweets would be needed in an engagement ceremony. Laboni looks at him, not pleased. Ritesh pretends to feel bad and says he did not say anything wrong; he just wants guests to be treated well at the engagement. Laboni angrily tells him that he doesn't need to explain to her, and Ritesh says she always gets angry at things, like she did eight years ago. Laboni responds that she remembers what happened eight years ago, that he created the misunderstandings between the two families. He says he married Ananya for money, but Laboni also is getting her daughter married to money, not a human being. Laboni fumes that she has done nothing like that, but Ritesh smiles and says despite what Laboni says, everyone knows of her cunningness. He says she kept the two engagements on the same day in order to save her costs, and her name will get respected in society. He says she attained a wealthy son-in-law and didn't even have to take anything out of her pocket. Laboni is stunned and comes out from behind the counter to tell Ritesh to leave.

Everyone in the shop looks at them in shock and Ritesh says it is not wrong to speak the bitter truth, the truth that she is selling her daughter. Laboni pushes Ritesh against the counter and slaps him four times (I counted! Four slaps!! 🤣). She drags him out of the shop and slaps him on the street, which Neelu sees. Laboni and Ritesh are shocked to see Neelu standing watching them. Ritesh tries to explain but Neelu says certainly Ritesh must have done something because Laboni would never behave in such a way. Ritesh tries to speak but Neelu says she knows everything, and eight years ago problems had started because of him, whether it was true or not then, today he certainly is trying to create a rift. Ritesh is stunned. Neelu requests Ritesh not to do anything like this again in the future and tells him not to raise this matter at home; otherwise he should remember that she is on Laboni's side, not his. Neelu apologises to Laboni on Ritesh's behalf, but Laboni walks off angry and upset. Neelu follows her. Ritesh looks livid, thinking that Neelu did not do the right thing by siding with Laboni and humiliating him in front of the public. He thinks that the whole family would pay for this and he would bring destruction. The scene changes to Robindo and his mates in college watching some girls dance in front of them (If you can call that dancing! 😲😆). Robindo stops them and says he will tell them how to do it. He goes up to a girl and takes her hand.

Molly walks past and spots this, looking on shocked. Robindo and the girl dance whilst Molly walks into the room. She shouts out 'Stop it!' and everyone stops and turns to look at her in surprise. Molly moves the girl away from Robindo and says it is enough, and that even after jail he hasn't sorted himself out. She says he was lucky to get away from the ragging matter, but today she has caught him ragging this girl red-handed. Robindo looks at her confused. One of the guys in the room teases Robindo, telling him to cover his cheek in case he gets a slap today too. Molly tells the guy to shut up and says first they do cheap acts then they joke. Robindo interrupts and says she is misunderstanding everything, but Molly tells him to think about how girls feel when he behaves with them that way. She turns to the girl and says that she needn't be afraid of boys like these. Molly is about to take the girl out of the room, but the girl pushes Molly's hand away and says that Robindo and his friends were helping her practise for her dance, but Molly ruined all the fun. Molly is surprised. The boys start laughing as Molly gets upset. She rushes out and Robindo watches her leave. As Molly walks out of the college she sees Taposh outside holding a rally. Taposh says in order for the city to flourish and remain clean, it is their responsibility. They begin tidying up outside the college. Molly comes up to Taposh and says she also wants to do all this. Taposh replies that she won't be able to do all this as she is the ACP's daughter and doesn't have the habit of it.

Molly argues that she is a part of their group now and if he is with her she can do anything. Taposh looks her at. Molly is about to take the broom bit stops midway and Taposh asks her if she got thorns on her hands. He hands her the broom and she hesitantly takes it. Taposh gives a slight smile before turning away and going towards another guy. Just then, Robindo and his mates come out too and laugh at them cleaning the roads. Molly looks at them and thinks that boys like Robindo spread filth in the society, whereas Taposh believes in finishing the filth within the city. She smiles and looks at Taposh.

~ Part Two ~

Anurag, Sushant, Nupur and Taani are walking through a street. Sushant asks why they came here to shop rather than a good and big shopping mall. Nupur replies that you can get very good saris here unlike any other place and Anurag asks Sushant whether he is coming for the school reunion tomorrow. Sushant says he has no reason to come as he is not an ex-student of that school. Nupur responds that neither is she, but she is still going. Anurag says he and Taani studied in that school, and since Nupur and Sushant are there would-be life partners it would be fine if they came along. Taani looks down sadly and Sushant agrees to come. They go off into a sari shop. Nupur says she will buy at least ten saris today, as shopping is her weak point. Sushant laughs and jokes to Anurag that this marriage is going to cost him a lot. Nupur freely chooses saris, whilst Taani awkwardly looks at the price label on one. She asks the worker to show her a simple sari, but Sushant tells her to get it as it will be from him. Taani disagrees and says she would like it if he got her this sari not now but after their wedding. Sushant tells her to forget all the formalities but Taani tells him these are her principles. She says she will buy whatever sari he likes, but with her own money. Sushant looks at her, happy. Taani sees a red sari which she likes and stands up to see how it looks. Sushant watches her in awe. Anurag stand up and tells Sushant to come with him to look at kurtas. Sushant agrees and they go to look at kurtas.

Nupur calls Taani and asks for Taani's opinion on a sari. Taani smiles and says it's nice but grabs another sari and says it would look better on Nupur. Nupur makes a face and says she does not like black. Taani tells Nupur that black is Anurag's favourite colour and he would like it. Nupur thinks for a moment and then asks Taani what colour Taani likes. Taani looks away and says she does not like any colour anymore, that she will just take the sari that Sushant chooses for her. Nupur looks at Taani for a moment. She says it must be difficult for Taani to keep explaining to her own heart, and that sometimes the heart says one thing and the mind another. Taani smiles and says it's not difficult now, as she has explained to her heart. Sushant and Anurag are behind them looking at kurtas. Sushant calls Taani to help him with looking for kurtas. Taani goes to Sushant and Anurag goes to Nupur, asking her what saris she chose. Anurag points to the black sari Taani had shown earlier and tells Nupur it would look good on her. Nupur makes a face and says she likes this blue one. Nupur says if Taani was in her place Taani would have definitely bought the black sari, because he likes it. She says but she is Nupur, therefore she will get the blue sari, because according to her, Anurag should like whatever she likes (You can't just mould someone like clay to make them how you want them to be! 😛 This girl is so selfish! 😡).

Anurag gets another orange sari and looks at it with a smile. He says it is really nice and that in childhood orange used to be his favourite colour. Nupur stops him and says there will be no further discussions as she is getting the blue sari. Anurag gives a small smile and agrees, saying that everything she likes, he will like. Nupur places a hand on his shoulder and smiles saying that this is the reason why she likes him so much. Nupur walks off to look at salwar suits and Anurag sits quietly, staring at the orange sari. Sushant comes to sit beside him and says so orange is Anurag's favourite colour. Anurag replies that it used to be his favourite colour. He puts the sari down and says he is going to school after so many days so thought of refreshing old memories. Nupur calls Anurag to look at some suits and he stands up and goes to her. Taani comes to Sushant with an orange sari and asks him how it looks. He replies that it is good. Taani asks him if she should get it and Sushant says she should. She smiles and goes off to pay for it. Taani thinks to herself that this was the only good sari that was also within her budget, and thank God that Sushant liked it. Sushant watches her from behind, smiling slightly.

~ Part Three ~

Laboni and Neelu are in the kitchen of the Banerjee house. Neelu asks Laboni if the atta is enough, but Laboni remains silent. Neelu asks her what has happened and why she is not saying anything. She says she doesn't want what happened once before to happen again, that these two families came together after many prayers. Laboni speaks and says she will not let their relationship break. Neelu says that days of happiness are coming, both their kids are getting engaged on the same day and that she will prepare lavishly for it. Laboni gets upset thinking about Ritesh's words about Laboni wanting to cut back on her costs. She tells Neelu that she doesn't think Anurag and Taani should get engaged on the same day, as they know why they took this decision but people outside cannot be explained. She looks down says people will think she is trying to save on the costs of Taani's engagement. Neelu tells her not to worry about people and these kinds of things, but Laboni says she will have to think about it, as already people are thinking that she is getting Taani married to Sushant because he is rich. She cries that people would think she had sold Taani to him. Neelu looks at her shocked. Laboni asks Neelu whether she has no right to get Taani married in a house where she will get all the happiness and not lack in anything. She says as a mother can she not think of her daughter's happiness. Neelu says Ritesh said all this to Laboni, right? Laboni looks down and tries to change the subject, talking about how Neelu always kneads atta in the wrong way.

Neelu says it is fine, but Laboni takes the atta away from her and kneads it herself, wiping away her tears. Neelu looks at Laboni and then looks down, thinking. The scene changes to Ritesh entering Shekhar's room and asking him to look at some documents. Shekhar tells Ritesh that he does not want to get involved in all these matters and goes back to putting ice cubes in his whisky. He says he has given the charge of the factory to Anurag, thus all decisions will be taken by Anurag. He tells Ritesh to leave and do whatever Anurag says. Ritesh is shocked and leaves the room. Ritesh begins thinking that after marrying Nupur; Anurag will get Arindam's wealth as well as the charge of Shekhar's business. He thinks that everyone is getting what they want, but he is facing the loss. He says that he would have to do something quick to stop this loss and also get revenge for the humiliation that he had to face because of Laboni. Ritesh thinks of his BP problem and that in order to keep his BP in control he would have to give them pain (Yeah, yeah, all talk, no action! 😆).

RATING: 7/10

Same as yesterday's rating and same comments. I wish they would get to the engagement already. I just want the pace to pick up. Anyway, not a bad episode, I guess slowly Anurag will realise that this self-centred Nupur is not the woman for him. All she thinks about is herself and her happiness- has she ever tried to do something for Anurag, accept his likes? The answer is no, and this is what Anurag needs to realise. He needs an eye-opener, and I'm sure Nupur will just end up being that herself. Around Taani, he will realise the difference between the two women and crave for the affection that Taani will bestow upon Sushant. I liked Neelu standing up for Laboni- both her and Laboni really showed Ritesh his place. And another thing I liked in the episode was Taani's self-respect and her wish to prove her independence and stand on her own two feet. And this is what Sushant loves about her, her honesty, her determination to keep herself happy. I just hope Anurag wakes up soon!
