I am scared. I don't know how he is going to react to the fact that I have a crush on him. I feel, I am going to lose my best friend forever and that is the last thing it'd hope for, to happen....

Part 1.

I've always been a coward. I simply can't help it. Afraid to lose my best friend, perhaps - the "only" friend of mine (owing to my anti-social behavior), I manipulated situations and words to get him back.

Armaan.mallik1: You have a crush on me? I knew it.

His "knew it" scared me. I don't know why.

Riddzie21: No dumbo! was just kidding, its just Robert Pattinson again. Ah! I soo love him!

Armaan.mallik1 : See, I have to go now. Gotta go sumwhr. tlk to u l8r. bye.

Riddzie21 : No! Hey! You can't go like this. Without listening to what I am saying?

Riddzie21 : ??? ... Armaan, u there?

Riddzie21 : Armaan??

That was it! It was the second last time we talked. Then we had a fight as he told someone my secret without my permission. And then, he had to go back to his medical college in Chennai.

Its been exactly 2 weeks, since we last had any contact and it IS the longest time, I've lived without him. He doesn't mail me anymore and my ego isn't tiny enough to send him any!

Everyday, I go to college, attend classes sincerely, spend time with mom and dad and do stuff. But something huge, is missing out of my life. And it is obviously him.

I made an anonymous Orkut account and found his "recent" pictures with girls, his classmates. He was smiling in all of them, each photo had a new girl with him, too close for my comfort, smiling sickly at the camera lens!

And I thought, he misses me , like I miss him.

Sometimes, I feel like a fool. How could I, Riddhima Gupta, the least girlish girl ever, fall in love and that too, with my best friend, Armaan Mallik? The guy, whom, I once considered as my brother?

Infact, looking at his pictures, the loss of contact between us, I feel terribly heartbroken. Its like a hole punched right through my chest. Maybe, what the sad songs in the movies depict, are true. Maybe, this is why they say "love hurts" !

He won't even know it ever, that I love him, adore him to bits. Perhaps, I too plain for him, too boring, too egoistic, too ... unfit. He doesn't even deserve me. But what can I do, I can't help myself from thinking about him, every moment I do. I miss him. More than he could ever know.

NOTE: This was all I could manage at the moment. And yes, I'm going to continue only if I get reviews. No reviews, no updates, is the new rule, for me!
