I read about the same this morning on the yahoo homepage but I wasn't believing it. But now looks like news have been confirmed.

Well it's his personal life .. I knw tht he was depressed et al after his son's death but still? Anyway as long as he doesn't mess up with his professional life, I'm fine :). I love his choreography!

soo the rumours turn out to be true.. i understand that it is his life.. plus his marriage life has been on the rocks especially after his son's death... but I think he could've waited until he got his divorce before revealing this.. oh well... let's see how far this goes i guess

He is one of the busiest persons in Indian cinema. He is a dancing legend, an actor, director, and a top choreographer. Everyone knows that the reticent Prabhu Deva is also a man in love but has stayed away from making any sound bytes, interviews or even clarified media reports. Throughout his career, he has never discussed or spoke about his personal life even when his "affair" with top actress Nayanthara was doing the rounds. For the past one year, ever since Nayan acted in Villu a film that Prabhu directed, much has been written about their relationship and media has been working overtime especially after Nayan tattooed Prabhu's name on her wrist. But either Prabhu or Nayan did not comment on their relationship nor deny it. In this first ever exclusive interview to sify.com, from Malshej Ghat near Mumbai where he is shooting for Urumi, Prabhu Deva opens up How is the shooting for Urumi progressing?
The shooting is going on briskly and we all are enjoying it. I will be completing this schedule and will be off for the song shoot of the Jayam Ravi-Hansika film that I am directing. The title will be changed from Ich and I will be announcing it soon. The media has been writing in detail about your affair with Nayanthara. But you have so far refused to talk about it or acknowledge the relationship. Why ?
Throughout my career the media has been writing a lot of things about me, but I have never bothered to react or call a press meet to clarify or issue a denial. As far as Nayanthara is concerned she is special. Yes I am in love with Nayanthara and we will be getting married soon. It's a personal decision and I don't like to talk about it to the media. Basically I'm not comfortable opening my heart out to the media. The grapevine has it that Nayan has quit acting to settle down with you. Please comment?
She's very contrary to the glam image that you see. She's a home bird, very simple. Any man who is in love would like to spend more time with his woman . I am no different and there is no meaning in both of us being busy and having no time for each other. She had a beautiful innings and I know very well that she is a top actress who is much in demand. What is that one defining change that Nayan has brought in you?
(Smiles) It's not one, there are many. She has stood by me in my difficult times and her support was like an oasis in the desert.

Earlier I was a short-tempered person but now my assistants and friends say that I have mellowed down a lot (Smiles). She is a very strong person and has made me like her. She has taught me how to love each other unconditionally and how to carry myself in public. She is a wonderful human being and I find everything about her lovable.

A few months back I read tht Rajnikanth advised Prabhu & Nayantara.But Prabhu said he wants both Nayan & his wife.He said there r ppl who liv with both wives{Like Dharmendra},he wants to be like that.His wife said that Prabhu is a nice man,bcz of Nayantara's arrival she is losing him.Wen did prabhu decided 2 divorce his wife?

Once Nayantara told that she does'nt trust men as all men hav extra marital affairs..She said after marr d hus shud b faithful 2 his wife.But she herself became d 2nd woman in one's life .How did Nayan change so fast?

Do u think Nayantra is the one who would stand on her words.. no morals i say... its their life ohh yaa but i feel sorry for these kinda ppl who walk out of their marriage for these silly kinda actresses and man she is an actress no mother teresa... and ya i saw them in south scope together the girl asked when r u getting married so prabhu said soon and nayan was all blush blushh.. craappp.... i didnt like her frm day one now i dnt like her even moreeeeeeeeeeee
