I was doing my class Assignment , which is to answer these two beautiful questions.

What are you willing to die for?

and

What are you willing to live for?

I asked my little brother the same question. Well I asked him what are you willing to die for? He said "I am willing to die if I get signed by Real Madrid." 😕 I said "that is something that would make your life worthwhile, meaning this is what you want to live for. But what would you want to die for? What is that one thing that you can risk your life for. What is so important that you want it to continue even when you cease to exist."

Very nice topic Angel.....
I can die even without giving it a second thought for my kids/husband/mother and my two brothers........now I also have some very close family members besides the one I have mentioned and very close friends but to be very honest I will not die for them...I will help them out if they need me in whatever way I can....even if it means going bankrupt.....but I will not die willingly for them....

Regarding what do I want to live for....it may sound cliched but I want to live for my kids....as long as they need me which ...I know will be for ever....because I need my parents for ever.....

I don't know the answer to either of your questions. 🤔

It's like, there are things worth living for - like love. You know, if you have people around who love you and vice versa, you would want to live no matter how much you've got to struggle. And interestingly, love is what one can die for. Obvious reasons! A person deprived of love would die no and we can say so, can't we?

So I'd say love. Though, I am really not sure. 😆

I take great issue with that statement. Dying for your country sounds almost reasonable, although I wouldn't volunteer if given the choice. But why in the hell would anyone want to die for a religion or an ideology? What is so heroic about dying in the name of religion? If anything, it only goes to show how much of a boneheaded zealot some people can be.

for you they are boneheaded, or them you are boneheaded, but they got the guns amd grenades and the machete's in their hand, so your opinion only has value till you are like a thousand miles away from them😆
All I can say it is an acquired taste😉 and since I havent acquired for it, I gotta live in a corrupt country😆
