This was Atif's 1st Bollywood Song. And a big hit. So perfect for this round!

Horrendous singing! 👎🏼 Throughout the song, his voice shook, and did not match the tempo at all. The fact that this was the slow version was even more torturous. He has no idea of pitching, and goes whereever he pleases. If anything I can credit him with is his tone, which is sad, just like the rest of his musical career. He had started with a promise, but degraded exponentially. Anyways, for this song, a 5!

Note: if this song was a hit, as said by you, it is probably because of the fast version of th ong, nd that too the track and not the singer. Also wonderful composition by the MD, Roop Kumar Rathore

The track seemed OK, on paper, yes. The background tune is just fabolous, granted. But the singing is a big letdown. Lets be honest, though not as bad as it sounds to a typical listener, it is full of flaws. First which shows openly is the voice at high pitches. It feels laboured.

Control of breath is the key but here it shows lack thereof. It seemed as if atif was tired after recording after recording and this just doesn't cut for me. The track of his genre should be sung in such a manner that it should not make anyone fall asleep, as what unfortunately happened in this case.The track begins on a promising note, but goes downhill and stale and gets worse after 75 percent of it is complete. Adding to the chaos is the poor coordination between the song singing and the music played. Parallel coordination is completely lacking and it often goes haywire, especially if you listen it carefully in a good quality headphone.

But what saves this track is the tune and the tempo of the background music (not the singer). The instrumental part is just superb and easy on the ears and does something to save the sinking ship.

Not good, just average. But for the tune and the hit factor, I'll give it:

7/10.

I am not at all fond of his voice, it kind of irritates me. Though he is very popular with the young masses but he is a bit besura. So a 7 from me, that too bcoz I never rate anyone below 7, thats my lowest score.

This is average singing. But may be its not singing which irritates but the voice of atif is a bit unbearable at times. Slow songs of Atif are a pain (no offense). The only song of his which I really liked was Tera hone laga hoon.
