I love this show. I love it every day. But on some days it just awes me!

@Pearl Grey and team - where do you guys find the CONVICTION, the INTEGRITY and the ARTICULATION, and CLARITY of purpose and the TALENT for arriving at the core of the matter and SKILL to present it with such power? I have said this before, I say it again, may god bless!

The scene with Shyam Saxena and his wonderful daughter Pratigya, was so beautifully created, that I want to heap praises on this fabulous team of CVs. Maan gaye huzoor!

The scene talked of how forging the path of truth and conviction is a very tough one, and only the very rare, very brave ones attempt it irrespective of whether victory is guaranteed or not. They set out not with sights on success but with hearts strengthened with integrity. The CVs obviously speak from experience!

In a mire of mediocrity in our programming, that passes self-preservation for Patni-Dharma, makes a virtue of spinelessness, where truth is acceptably sacrificed for temporary harmony and good name, you the CVs have had the courage to show true integrity of character, held out for the most ideal in love and relationships and human values. I don't know where to begin to praise, the heart and the minds and the hands behind this show.

CVs - PLEASE TAKE A BOW!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

And how timely! People who take paths off the time-tested beaten track are always called foolish or arrogant or plain wicked. How important it is to retain conviction when the whole world tries to pull you down, by either criticizing your heart or your mind! How rightly she says that even the ones that profess to love you sometimes don't have the conviction to believe in your path. That hurts like hell, but then who said truth was easy?
What a true 'parent of spirit' Shyam Saxena is! He gives his daughter what her soul needs, not just stuff that will keep her confined and happy. A truly brave parent!

I loved how it was placed!

Pratigya - attacked by everyone, ripped by Komal, doubted by Krishna... perturbed by the hostility her act has generated, dismayed by how quickly SHE has become the villain of the piece instead of the real perpetrators of crime and abuse! 😭😕

A rare moment of self doubt for Pratigya. She asked GD yesterday if she had done anything so wrong. The old lady had shaken her head firmly, and reassured her. But Pratigya needed to head, like a homing pigeon, to the source of her education, the source of her strength - her father.

At home, she was polite with her dadi and mother but impatient. But when her mother also started to disagree and disapprove, she got up in a bit of a huff and went straight to her father's room.

He sensed her distress. of course. at once. I have only tried to do right, but it sticks in everyone's gullet - whether they love me or hate me - they seem to be able to bear everything else except my supporting what is right.

It is not easy,
her father told her, the path you have chosen. And never mind if you don't win today. The flame of truth has burnt for a little while - that is no small achievment. Not everyone has your strength. They may appear to be strong but they are cowards - they cannot face the truth. You don't lose courage. It is important that you don't.

He quotes to her some poetry that has always inspired him, poetry he used to recite to her when she was a child:

Ho gayi hai peer parvat si pighalni chaahiye
Is Himalay se koi Ganga nikalni chaahiye

Torments have assumed mountainous proportions; they must now melt
From this Himalaya must flow a river, a Ganga

Aaj ye deewaar pardon ki tarah hilne lagi
Shart lekin thi ke ye buniyaad hilni chaahiye

The walls sway like curtains today, ready to crumble
But we are not done till we uproot the very foundations

Har sadak par har gali mein har nagar har gaanv mein
Haath lahraate huye har laash chalni chaahiye

In every street, nook, city and village
Let the dead arise, waving their hands

Sirf hungaama khada karna mera maksad nahi
Saari koshish hai ke ye soorat badalni chaahiye

I do not say this merely to raise a din
The effort is to change the face of this situation

Mere seene mein nahi to tere seene mein sahi
Ho kahin bhi aag lekin aag jalni chaahiy e

If not in my bosom, then certainly in yours
Anywhere at all, but keep the fire alive

Never let this flame die, Pratigya! Remember your courage is your hallmark.

Pratigya's face blooms. This is why I come to you, she said, you have always understood me, never let me down. I was afraid, I was shaken but I am not anymore. Thank you so much.

It was a beautiful scene. And you know, years down the line, if someone wants to know, "oh that top TRP gathering serial Pratigya, what was that about?" You can just show them this one scene and tell them - It was about this. 👏👏👏

Wow! thanks Bubble. That was nicely translated. And the scene described so well!

That is precisely how I felt. I never download videos, but I think I will download this scene. Courage is such a sterling quality isn't it? Where in fighting a moral battle or making a serial. It is amazing how the first reaction to courage is almost always, pull-them-down. But then courage is what it IS in the face of detraction. Warna maza hi kya hai?😃
