As Ritu said, love cannot change a man's basic character essence. True that, most of us here probably do have personal experience as well :) I for one totally agree! But the Geet CV's kinda distorted the MSK character sketch here.
The MSK we have all known and love!
"Women...cares who?"
MSK, subtle love and lots of raw passion!
Its not like i wudnt want to see maan in his softer avatar once in a while, but him going out of the way for a girl [without the MSK panache] is kinda hard to believe...not to mention, it reeks FILMY!
One of the apt Mahiii moments :)
Love can do wonders, yes. It can make you very happy and buoyant, yes. It can pump in loads of positive energy in you, yes. But it cannot give your persona a 180 degree flip! That happens at Self-Realization, where you attain liberation through the ultimate truth of life. I would vouch for that anyday. But a total transformation over mortal love? No sir.
The best answer thrust upon the questioners is however, that "Serial me toh chalta hai."
Arey yaar fir toh ye Ekta-scene ho gaya na? What was the point of those "we'll keep it close to reality" promises? đ
Ok, now going by the Rom-soap standards, which are supposed to be larger than life and devoid of much logic, i'd still question the sudden [and should i say convinient] transformation of dev! How and when did that happen? This guy is not even in love đđ
"DEVil's own" ;) ;)
All said, let me mention, I love myra's character sketch. Seriously, hers is one outline that has been kept very refreshingly real [for how long nobody knows though!]
And i think she's too good for him. [Though i do admit, offscreen i find Abhinav shukla quite hot! lol]
Dev was not some lollypop-sucking toddler that NT could have practically driven him into impregnating an innocent girl! And now he's trying to look all angelic and pristine!
Miracles do happen, but over some reason. âď¸
Finally, i'd say, thank God Geet and Maan's coast is clear in terms of their own feelings and confessions. Really, it was getting rather infuriating to watch the classic cat-n-mouse of one-chasing-other-rejecting and viceversa. Its sweet for a while, and then gets awfully frustrating, especially when the whole thing can be easily simplified and cordialized over one long and open heart-to-heart dialog! But then, how would that make up a saga... Damn!
The station scene, especially drove me to my wit's end! Startled my mom when i screamed "Uggghhh why are girls so TIRESOME!!!"
And this considering i am a major Maneet fan...and a girl at that đ
This was not against Drashti at all, love the lady. It was against all those girls who think "footage khana" is an art, and men love it. Some of my friends are like that, and boy are they wrong or what! If i as girl hate the excessive drama, then think of the boys! I had warned those 2 friends... didnt listen.. faced repercussions đ
Anyhow, this was also against the CV's who modeled geet like those 2 friends of mine... Puhleeez, i expect there being more to her!
I generally dont write negative, but had to vomit these out of my system. No offence intended, coz as i said i am a HUGE gurmeet and drashti fan myself. no vengeance at all, just sharing my feelings đ
Cheers to all!
