It's hard to choose, since there have been numerous famous dance numbers aside from these. Most of these are fairly recent and there have been a lot of good ones from the past too - Madhuri's, Sridevi's, Hema Malini's etc. I think the list should include Ek Do Teen (by Madhuri), Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya (Madhubala) and at least one by Sridevi. My favorites are all of Madhuri's dance numbers, Thodasa Pagla (Ash), and I pick Chamma Chamma from the list.

The best ones aren't even included! my favorite item numbers have to be anything that maduri does lol but I don't know which songs of hers are item numbers! I will go with Choli Ke Peeche-Khal Nayak! Maduri is awesome in songs! I loved kareena's it's rocking too! Love kareena's and maduri's energy in songs! Too cute!
