Monday 20/9/10

Nothing much actually. Paatti is singing like a canary. Tells Shreenithi about the
first wedding of RR - RR is an amma kOndu, amma paartha ponnai marry pannikka
accepts - does not even look at the snap. Gopi and Sundu are RR's close friends.
Anu is the daughter of a Tamizh teacher. Pallu's dad and mom introduce the bride
and groom's families to each other. RR refuses to go and see the girl saying
"amma kku pidicha enakku ok" (romba vekkamaam , uh huh) Finally Gopi and
Sundu goad him to go and see the girl. Anu and RR konjam vazhisal - Paatti sings
more...

Hmmm, intha episode kku ithuve jaasthi nnu Roja feels

cool on thursday....Episode 109

Gopi knocks RR's sambandhi's (Rajmohan) house and the wife Vasanthi opens the door. She is a little shocked and upset and invites him in. Both husband and wife exchange glances and the husband tries to make small talk. He keeps exchanging glances with the wife, who is clearly unhappy about the hubby talking to Gopi. Hubby then tells Gopi that they are preparing for the son's engagement.

Gopi tells Aadhi and his sister about their parents kalyana galatta. Meanwhile Vasanthi calls hubby from the kitchen. Vasanthi asks him why he invited Gopi home. She says Gopi brought him bad luck and until he got away from their life. She says he is a jealous fellow, and he is never happy about their happiness and his ill wishes are apparent. She asks him to get rid of Gopi quick and asks him not to invite Gopi again.

Vasanthi brings coffee, and Gopi tries to ask about the engagement. Gopi then enquires about the sambandhi, and who it is. Rajmohan tells him about the greatness (good god) of RR's family and their andhasthu is high. Has great things to say about RR, and mentions RR's name. Gopi realises who it is and clarifies with Rajmohan. Says he is a close friend of RR. Gopi asks him if his daughter in law is Anu's daughter or Pallavi's daughter. Rajmohan is surprised and says its Anu's daughter. He asks Gopi who is Pallavi. Gopi spills the beans that Pallavi is RR's 2nd wife. He tells him Anu is the 1st wife, Pallavi is biwi #2 (at last we settled the doubt).

Rajmohan is livid and says the whole thing is most kevalam and asingam. Asks why RR didnt tell him this. Rajmohan cancels the whole engagement on the spot and shouts at his family for even suggesting the wedding to go on. He tells Aadhi there is no negotiation on this. Aadhi asks why they should punish Nivedha for this, and Rajmohan wont hear anymore of it. Gopi apologises (nadippu) to the family for telling the truth and leaves.

Aadhi tries to convince daddy not to cancel the engagement on friday. Father refuses, saying the asingam is too much, and leaves. Aadhi and Sister comfort each other.

RR and Sundu at park. RR tells Sundu that he fears Nivedha's engagement will be a disaster if Pallavi comes for the engagement. They think about what can be done. RR says he cant convince Pallavi not to go for the engagement as she will do what she likes (dont we all know that). Sundu thinks about how to get around this. RR surfaces an idea to tell both the families the whole truth. Sundu thinks this is not a good time to reveal. RR doesnt want the truth to be known after Nivedha's wedding. Sundu says he will somehow stop Pallavi from attending the engagment (Sundu should be put in jail) but the engagement will happen.

Back in Rajmohan's house- Rajmohan is (shouting) his decision to his whole family that the engagement is off....Aadhi looks like no fly dancing on his face....thodarum

Tuesday - KSKK (kaNN simittum Krishna kaapaaththu)

EPISODE - 107 21st SEPT 2010

RR is taken to girl see Anu, after much prodding by his mother he raises his head to see Anu.. accepts for the wedding.. Anu is taken inside and asked for her opinion..she too is okay with it..one of her friend says that she was only seeing the MIL and not the groom, Anu happily announces that the kindness etc etc on the mother's face made her accept. Another friend suggests that they can go thanikudithanam after marriage because he is such an ammakkONdu.. Anu negates and says she would never ever do that.. Patti overhears the conversation and is very happy.. comes in and tells Anu, her mom and the friends that she would be very happy to have Anu as her DIL. Anu's father Thiru asks for time so that he can arrange for wedding expenses. Pallu's father volunteers. The wedding takes place in a temple.. all are happy. Patti is very thankful to Pallu's dad and blesses him and his family whole heartedly.

Shreenidhi asks paatti , then how come this much of anger.. while paatti begins to spell out the villainy, Sundaram comes inbetween , after initial kusalam visaarichings and how each knows the other, Patti certifies that Karthik and Shreenidhi are good children. Sundaram tells her she has to say this always.. Patti says she doesnt change or mince words.. ennaikkum orE vaarththai..Both Paatti and Shreenidhi want to continue their talk but paatti is whisked off home in an auto and Shreenidhi leaves on her scooty after Sundaram's promise of bringing Shreenidhi home.

Nivedha opens the door and paatti looks at her and thinks to herself because of that paavi unable to light the lamp at the temple. Anu and Nivedha ask why paatti is so dull. Anu finds the oil can taken to the temple unused.. asks paatti, who says never even entered the temple.. both ask for the reason...

Hmmm, the last SBT I knew was State Bank of Travancore! RP does change things around.

Update for Friday, Sept 24, 2010:

RR and Sundu in park, and Sundu assures RR that he will make sure that Pallu will not attend the engagement, and to leave it to him. Adhaan, avaruda first and most important job is to take care of RR's double life, everything else is secondary, which explains why he has no family of his own!

Rajmohan is busy screaming in his house - I guess everyone is deaf in his house - that he is going to call RR's house and call off the engagement. Wife and Adhi try to reason with him, but the man is raving and screaming - at this rate, he will have a stroke soon! - finally, wife gets a word in. She tells him that he can give some other reason for breaking off the engagement, why spoil Anu's nimmadhi also, since Gopi has mentioned that Anu and Pallu do not know of their hubby's double life. Adhi tells his dad to use that excuse that has been used from the last few centuries - horoscope problems, and finally RM sees sense. He calls Anu's house, RR picks up the phone - muted dialog - RR is in shock. Anu comes in, asks what is going on, what did sambandhi say, RR says no sambandhi, he will never be our sambandhi, engagement is off (at least now, I hope he sees what his two-timing is doing to his family!)

Anu is in tears, Nivedha is in tears, Paati is furious, says she knew there would be problems, the josiyar told her so, but her vendhuthals will not be in vain, and Nivedha will definitely marry the man of her choice, Kamesh is gloating away secretly and Santhosh wants to go see Raj Mohan and one hand see him (oru kai paarthu vittu varen!), but RR stops him - I think he knows that his secret is out.

Pallu's house - her mother (PM) tells her dad (PD) that the engagement in Anu's house is off (I guess it has already been broadcast on the radio) but Pallu still insists on going there to find out why it happened (she is a real nosy parker!) PD says that Pallu always does what she wants, never listens, (don't we know that already?), Pallu comes in, wants to know why they are all against her being friendly with Anu? PM and PD have this guilty look on their faces.

Thodarum ... (Innum evvalavu naaLukku thodarum? When will you put us out of our misery?)
