Big Productions beefs up creative team with two new appointments


MUMBAI: BIG Productions has upped its creative ante with the appointment of Jayesh Patil and Bimal Unnikrishnan as head of fiction and non fiction respectively.

In their new roles, Patil and Unnikrishnan will be responsible for their respective functions and will report to BIG Productions business head Sarvanan P.

Sarvanan said, "With a combined experience of over 30 years, these industry stalwarts promise to be a huge asset to the Company. With super successful shows like Kumkum, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Dance India Dance and many more behind them, Jayesh and Bimal will add a new dimension to our operations. They will also contribute significantly to creating more strategic, specific and focused content which will offer greater comfort levels and guaranteed success tags for broadcasters."

Unnikrishnan said, "Television content business has become extremely complex and demanding over the years and to cater to the evolving needs and sensibilities of the audience one needs a strong platform.
