in this case he is been involved because they feel that kesar has been persuaded by pratz and listens to her only. so they're involving krish so that he can control pratz as he is the one who has bought this girl into their family.

if this hadn't been the case and pratz wan't involved then ss and kn and kish would have dealt with it themselves.

I pity them when Krishna breaks free finally. But my heart also breaks for him, the total betrayel by those who are meant to love him will be one that will linger on till his last day.

Well... I don't know if we can call him the HEAD of the family because he does not provide the bread and butter for this family.. But he is definitely the LADLA of the family.. The apple of everyone's eye.. The obvious reasons for this are the fact that firstly, he is a MAN and in TN that automatically puts you on a pedestal.

Secondly, Krishu happens to be one of the rare members that is loved wholeheartedly by SS because he happens to possess a BRAIN, a rare commodity absent in his eldest son and wife😆..

And another appeal Krish holds is that he is the one member in the family that dares to openly challenge even the mighty SS that increases his value in front of SS. That's why he desperately seeks Krishu's approval. They fear losing him. Especially after the padi-likhi maharani has entered his life.

Amma and KN are just copycats of SS. And since he values Krish, they seek Krishu's approval as well..

I like your post. In some ways, SS will always be the head. He doesn't ask Krishna's permission how to run his affairs, treat his wife or control other people. However, like you said, he does care about how Krishna sees him. Krishna has more of an identity than the other two, more charisma and more passion. He is a free spirit. If SS cares so much, then why didn't they all look for him when he went off missing? Why did they only want to make sure Prats couldn't find him first? In that sense, SS's first love is politics, in and out of the Niwas. It doesn't mean SS wants to drive Krishna away either. He wants it both ways. Covert hold over his power, and honest image for his son. SS is the power of that family, his word alone put off the inspector from taking his wife and son to jail. But Krishna is the heart of that family, hands down. SS relates to Krishna in a way he doesn't with others, you never really see him hugging the other children or even his own mother. You could see a lot of this during the birthday celebrations.

Krishna is definitely the apple of his parents' eye. This is why when he opposes his family, they still care enough to listen. And yet I wonder, if Bauji loved him so much why did he refuse Krishna the choice of wife simply because she isn't Thakur? And then later he wanted his daughter to marry the wife's brother? Krishna had to slit his wrists to get his consent. So, the two men both rule the family in their own way. Each has his own way of thinking. The difference is that SS connives and his son does not.

I love this post. May I add that, for all of SS's pujas and his religious beliefs, they are mostly for show and he does not think of God as such. But Krishna himself reminds them all of the divine, because he was born on the same day and because he has so much love, more than all of them put together so in that sense he binds them all. Krishna is the one who offers love unconditionally, which none of them could ever do apart from the grandmother. None of them could ever change for the person they love and change that whom they love, because they aren't in love.

Krishna always stated that love must be pure no lies, betrayals or expectations it should be unconditional and selfless. He follows this principle and that is why he must be feared by his family members he is a headstrong man one who will love intensely but when hatred is awakened inside of him he will follow through with that emotions just as intensely.

No Krishna is not and he is truly better off not being the head of this selfish, as well as cruel family. Yet it is also a fact that he is the glue which holds this family together and he is surrounded by people who strive to gain his attention because they all know that he will always be there for them he is trustworthy unlike the other members of his family who harbor selfish needs and change their attitudes towards one another according to their situations.

Krishna seems to be the opposite of his parents he is loyal, and not only is he willing to change for his love but also accepts his mistakes in due time. To SS and Amma their son was somewhat understandable before he met prats but they realized that gradually his mindset was changing due to the strong love he had for his wife. I have noticed that his parents may call the shots but when it comes to Krishna they are forced to listen and they can only push him so far well aware of the fact that getting on his bad side could ruin their relationship with him forever.

It is quite sad the day Krishna sees his parents for what they are a piece of him will be lost forever the one that blindly trusted and supported his family members even when he knew they were incorrect. Fortunately prats will be there to help him with her true love she understands Krishna and only expects him to do what is correct.
