Dutta at this point thinks he is changing to make Nakku happy.Not realising,of course, Nakku loves him for what he already is.But subconciously he thinks he has lost his soul completely by killing people for a living.Now he wants it back and wants it badly just to show the woman he loves his better side. He thinks he is ugly & hideous inside and that's what he thinks Nakku sees.He wants Nakku to think he too is a human being with feelings & emotions, who feeels pain when hurt who smiles when happy.Of course Nakku knows all this already but he doesn't know Nakku is aware of this. The question in today's precap proves my point : What made Nakku fall in love with someone like me? is the question haunting him. He is thinkingthere must be something good in me and he wants to hear someone say it out loud in his case Nakku.He is thinking there is some soul left in me& he is wanting desperately to salvage it.Hence he is now in full redemption mode & ischanging everything that can be changed primarily his belief in God & love. This is a journey of self exploration for Dutta. Here is a man who has been playing the role of nurturer & provider for so long he doesn't remember himself anymore. Nakku just happened to bethere at the right time with her gift of love but Dutta has always wanted to get out ofthe quicksand that life had become for him. He thinks he is doing all this to make Nakku happy but again subconciously he is doing it to redeem himself. Not being aware of his virtues Dutta is eager to grab this gift which he has always craved forlife has suddenly presented to him and he finds himself ill-equipped to do so. This is his preparation to make himself presentable when finally he is ready to receive it.

I completely agree with zuby..he is not doing this only for nakku but for himself too althought the reason behind all the changes is definitely nakku.. but this is kind of a self exploration.. what i have come across is dutta was never happy with killing innocent people he always had this guilt within himself that his hands as blooded.. somewhere deep within himself he always wanted a life where in he is loved by someone and he loves the person too and he leads a happy life..he has always dreamt of such a life as all normal people do.. but due to the circumstances he compeletly got derailed from the track and now when he has found a ray of hope he is leaving no stones unturned to make his life the way he wanted 10 yrs back.. He knows what he is doing and he is not going to behave stupid at any point of time.. The changes are only in terms of looking on the either sides of a coin. before he would never think from the others perspective but now he tries to give a though to whatever is happening around and he gives his best to understand the complexity of the situtaion. this is where i think he is changing and in my opinion this is not bad at all.. and moreover falling in love is always a beautiful thing to happen to a person and this time its him and he is giving his cent percent to it since he has always craved for true love and he got it after he has faced so much in life. that is the only reason he is behaving that way its a dream come true to him.. when someone has to crave for something and finally he gets it the feeling of that achievement is simply awesome..

I don't think he is changing for Naku, He is changing b'coz of her. More like, he is reverting back to his original self, whom he had left behind a long time back.

Now that he know he has love in his life, there is content in his life. And it is this content which is showing in this this change in him. It has brought tranquility and peace in his life.

Yes, he does feel like he has been given this second chance in life--at love, at living happily. But can I ask you: Is he really reverting back to his old self? I contend that he does not know who he WAS, too much has happened. What he does know is that he wants to be better and a good person like Naku.
