'QUOTES' - to be or not to be ??

hey members...@ IF

aap sabne notice kiya hoga....(meri tarah..)
that any thread you go to.. u see all these people using the
"quotes" feature to make their point. woh helpful bhi hai but on
the other hand.. its a drag.

Imagine we din have the quotes feature???

Now i am juss wonderin if all of us on IF can make a post in this thread without using the quotes ?? BUT.. no restriction on explicitly making a comment about somebode else's post ! (so as to we dont lose significance of somebody's comment / post / thought / ideasssss !! )
