hey friends this article was on the site of GR8 magazine about our RR...I thought to share it with u all.....

the Ruling Roy!

One look at him and you go Haaaash… With an eye-catchy persona that grips you and an allure you so can't miss, Ronit Roy is the name given to this Shehanshah of Television. 45 now, he still gives a tough competition to all the newbies on TV with his refined mannerisms. Having done a plethora of work on TV, it has been his 7 prominent shows that took the audience by the storm. Starting off with Kasautii Zindagi Kay there has been no stopping to the good or rather GR8! work that he has been doing. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Sarrkarr, Jhalak Dikkhla Jaa, Aaja Mahi Vey, Bandini, Kitchen Champion are the shows that followed. He talks to GR8! about his Kal, aaj aur kal!

"I can write almost four books if I start telling my story…
...but to kick start, I started my career way back in 1986. Kasautii… was my first big break on TV and it created hulchul onscreen with my portrayal of Mr. Bajaj. My role in the show was supposed to be just for three months. I started off with Kasautii in July 2002 & Kyunki followed in October 2002. Talking of the characters, Bajaj was my creation. I put my soul in the character to build it up as opposed to Mihir which was already well-established. Both these characters were scary as my role was of an older person while I was in my mid 30s..."
