Nikkie, I think you bring up a good point, but Pankaj did not even give Jyoti one chance to say the truth. He believed an outsider (Brij) over his own wife. Kabir on the other hand is not too trusting to Jyoti because he does not want to doubt his brother. He did believe Jyoti at first though, but Rashmi messed things up by lying! I agree that Jyoti was at fault both times though for not trusting Pankaj or Kabir from the beginning. Husband and wife should always tell each other everything.
I also agree that Jyoti needs to learn how to confide in her husband and not repeat the past mistakes. However, this time around she tells kabir everything, she told him about Asha's condition right away as soon as he returned, she shared her worries for reshmi with him from the beginning, and kabir was the first person she wanted to call when she found out Vikrant was Reshmi's husband, her fault in this was to not listen when Reshmi threatened to kill herself and the baby.
I disagree that her relationship with pankaj was beautiful, he was more dependent on her....he was never confident enough in the first place and would side with Choti ma most of the time......I know that she made a mistake in hiding things from him and kept him in the dark for a year and maybe she would have been with him by now had she not listened to kaplana.....but she did confess at the end and pankaj's anger was very justifiable at that moment, the least he could do was give her a chance to explain instead of listening to Brij and throwing her out and abusing her in every possible way after that...how could you do that to someone you shared a life for a year. Also, remember how he believed Brij's words when Brij confessed and cleared everything about jyoti...Pankaj never had a mind of his own and would only trust what others told him, we all know what has become of Pankaj after that....
I think kabir is at crossroads here, remember how he sided her when she told everyone about Vikrant's truth, but Reshmi messed that up for her, also he believes his brother is bit of a saint and it was hard for him to accept the accusations made against him. All and all, I think kabir's anger at Jyoti is justified at the moment but let's see how events unfold from here.
I did watch the last episode one more time, I think we can guess what will happen next from Kabir's expressions'you can tell the feeling of disgust when Chachisa accused Jyoti of bribing the police and Reshmi, I think he would side Jyoti'.lets' watch and see.

the biggest difference btwn kabir and pankaj is tht kabir thinks for himself..pankaj blindly (pun not intended) believes what any fricking person tells him..CM said sumthng,he agrees, brij who he knew for like a couple weeks tells him his wife is cheating on him,he believes...thn the same guy comes tells him she is NOT cheating on him,he again believes...i mean, come on...
kabir on the other hand knows jyoti..and trusts his own judgement..he knows she has the pathological need of wanting to sort everything out on her own and he respects tht till an extent..and jyoti knows she can count on him too..which is y she does confide in him lot more thn she did wid pankaj..
