I am not saying a word.
You guys tell me if what Mann was made to do in yesterday's episode was right--not listening to Geet even though she begs him, slamming the door on her, being rude to her at work, pushing her away so hard that she almost falls, ....all this without giving her a chance to explain. Can you imagine his mental state? I dont think any one of us here can even imagine what he would have gone through. Maan has always been a very introvertish character, and his vulnerablity only comes out when he starts to develp feelings for Geet. Now, he feels decieved, cheated and betrayed by her, and he wants to get back to his old self, which is extremely natural. I agree he is being a jerk, but his behaviour is logical. Had he not behaved like this, I think I would have raised my eyebrows then. It's a basic human pysche, to go back to what you were, when faced with something bitter.
Am not even talk about the promo which shows her running behind his car and falling down. SHIVER SHIVER That's probably something the CVs can bank upon if they decide for a miscarriage later on.
I loved Mann's character.. and the way his role has been sketched out... but if the scriptwriter makes him this cold-blooded person then what is left to love... That's what naa, he is not cold blooded. He is just more introvert and shelled up. He feels the same emotions as us, and thats the reason he could fall in love. Cold Blooded would be a person who doesnt feel anything, who can murder someone and walk without a care in the world. And Maan is anything but that, I guess you also know that.
Geet came out stronger. The one who promises she will not quit and will try and make him see reason. I agree :)
What are they making Mann do-- after he has told Geet "I will always stand by you" (friday episode)... they are making him eat his words by giving him scenes where he is acting like a neanderthal... NOT FAIR. I know, and I felt that anguish too, but then again, isnt his behaviour naturally human? Being fair?
All the things Mann stands for--being Geets champion, a fair guy (we expect that he will be one when he hears the story), goes out of the window. No it doesnt. And somewhere it is Geet's fault too, she stated the truth in the most heartbreaking way ever. She didnt narrate the story from the beggining, she gave him the worst truth ever. She gave it in the most brutual form ever.
And the script guys have done something even worse... made Mann link all the past scenes and imagine that Geet is wrong.Tell me honestly, when you discover something that was unimaginable, dont you relate it to past events? I do, and all of us do yaa. For me, the episode was being true to the human pysche. 2 + 2 has become 22 ... Not right to limit a character like Mann like this Again I say, its not limiting. Its showing how the human mind works.
AND THE SCARY PART IS: I have feeling Dev is suddenly going to be made the Good guy, the savior. YUCK, YUCK YUCK. Nope, that they will never do, this I can vouch for. They will get the story back, but Dev can never be the good guy.
