something that i noticed............he keeps on refering to the marraige that happened as a forced situation and how they were forced for all those things to happed, and how they were forced to think that they love each other.

he seems to be omitting all the moments were he willingly did not allow tanni to be close with subodh, his own jealousy, the bus scene where he realizes how beautiful she is. I think being alone he has put that all into - was young, not my choice, what did i know at that age kind of category. then he sees nupur as His choice, his grown up decision, etc. so he loves her..............its seems odd that he keeps on repeating that..........maybe as a way to keep himself on track........

anyways, i think the confusion will be cleared when he sees Taani with someone else again, he will see that he again is feeling the jealousy and the possessive, this time as he is grown up and "knows" what love is, now he will realize that he does in fact love Taani.......at least that's what i think.....

What I feel is that Anurag has sub-conciously blokced himself to the thought of loving Taani ... we all know what happened when he started caring for her as a husband and started thinking of her as more than a friend. Anurag was punishedand Taani's character was questioned, families broke apart and everything just went out of control. So I feel he kinda blocked the thought of loving Taani because due to what happened he feels it was wrong for him to do that and they were best as friends. Now he does not even want to think about it or consider that option, he loves Taani but he does not even want to look inside of im and seek an answer ... he is afraid to come to terms with that reality because he is scared of what happened in the past ... this is how i see it ... but its not necessary people who wrote the story see it like this too 😆 But I am happy with what I have understood of Anurag ... he has not forgotten anything, he is just confused and in some ways scared to look inside and face the truth

i think when a new man enters taani's life ten only anurag will realize his love for her.

What would have happened if Taani was a male and not a female?

Anurag would be best friend's with Taani (male), but would the friendship be so intense like Taani (female)?

I think Anu's friendship 8 yrs ago with Taani (female) was more than just a best friend (atleast that is how it looks to us as viewers). Anu was possessive about Taani, and even felt jealous when Shubodh tried to get closer to Taani. He would also comment which color, hair style looked nice on Taani ...! Which perhaps would not have been the case, if Taani was a male.

Ofcourse, the circumstances in which Anu had to leave US definitely had an adverse affect on his emotions and personality. Also he might have inherited his fathers ego of success, wealth and stubborness thus moving away from idealistic principles - a promise is a promise. Again his childhood gratefulness towards Taani's family, might have consciously/ unconsciously left him with a sense of responsibility towards Taani and Labooni Ma - which may have been in the form of pity - to help a widow, and a friend in the time of need - so he returned to help Taani purchase the shop, so that they could be independent financially.

On the other hand Taani had inherited her father's strong principles of ethics, integrity and promise. She too was humiliated and separated from Anu (her best friend, and her husband) - but she did survive the trauma, and became a more matured and responsible person. There is no confusion in her mind. She will selflessly, always support Anu in the time of his need regardless of what the families think of her, or what Anu thinks of her.

We need to wait and see what Anu really and truly thinks of Taani in the months and years to come... is it just 'Best Friend', or is it more than that ?????? Wake up Anu !!!!!
