After seeing all the posts in today's Main Forum I am compelled to make this post. I want to raise certain questions on the so called Pure Love which most of the fans here are chanting.
What is True Love. According to me True Love is one which sets you free, which rescues you when you are down and in despair and which ultimately touches your soul to be with you forever. In this context I quote the very famous romantic movie of all time - TITANIC. In this movie Jack played by Leo meets Rose played by Kate on the ill fated doomed ship Titanic and in a span of just 3 days he rescues her from her suffocating atmosphere and gives her a chance at another life where she can be free. Both were with each other for less than 3 days but in those 3 days they had the love very few can get in the lifetime and in the end when Leo knows that he is going to die what does he ask of Kate. He asks her to move forward in life and have a happy life and grow old to be a nana. And if you clearly see the movie there is one line that the older Kate says -"Jack rescued me in every possible way that was there". And in the end of the movie you don't feel bad that Jack and Rose didn't get to be together but you feel happy that they met each other and you know that the love that they had is the true love. Yeah in the movie too before the deadly crash with the iceberg both Kate and Jack do end up making love but if you see both never were ashamed of the deed even when Kate was engaged in the movie. Why because Kate knew that she was meant to be with Jack. This is true love according to me.
Coming to the so called Pure love chant of AR fans going by the above example do you really think the love of AR can be called pure if both of them end up having an extra martial affair. As can be seen in the above example of the movie Titanic you don't need to romance each other for 3 years to have true love between them. True love frees you but I don't see it freeing Armaan. If Armaan truly and really loved Riddhima he would have been happy that she got an partner like Sid and would have set her free. But going by the current storyline no I don't think Armaan at any point truly loved Riddhima and that is why he is unable to accept that Sid is now the husband of Riddhima. True love never blackmails and never intentionally causes you to self destruct. Had he been a true lover he wouldn't have back stabbed his best friend Sid and wouldn't have gone ahead and crossed boundaries with Riddhima who is now Sid's wife. That is the reason in the promo Riddhima says that she has committed a big mistake and the mistake is not loving Sid but rather deceiving him when he was at his vulnerable best trusting her.
So bottom line if the creatives indeed go ahead with the Extra marital track between Armaan and Riddhima I wouldn't feel bad that Sid lost out to Armaan. Instead I would feel bad for Riddhima as she gave up on the person who was her support and who rescued her when she was at her lowest in life. Riddhima in this sense never knew the true meaning of love.
