There have been many rumours flying around in regards to DMG, and well I know some of them to be true. One particular rumour or news, dependent on what you believe, is that Shilpa might leave DMG. At this point in time, I don't wish to publicly comment on the reasons behind that.
Right now I am just very thankful to her. Why?
Thank you Shilpa for being a part of DMG at the very beginning and thus entertaining us with your acting, and very good chemistry with each one of your co actors. In particular, a lot of us loved your chesmitry with Karan. That chemistry gave us KaSh, the very first and the original AR. For me they will always remain AR, and I will forever cherish those scenes of Shilpa and Karan. I've always believed that Shilpa was the only one who could match Karan in terms of acting and expressions. With no KaSh, I've felt that Karan was the dominating factor in DMG. But with KaSh, it's been Karan and Shilpa. In fact on a few occasions I think Shilpa even overshadowed Karan.
Anyways, some reasons caused Shilpa to leave DMG and for a long time (2 years to be exact), we all missed her. We missed her acting, expressions and her great camaraderie with her costars.
Thus we were all very happy when she came back in May 2010 to entertain us once again. With her return, DMG got a new couple: ArSh. I'll be honest that as an ex AR fan, and for the sake of some consistency I wanted her back as Riddhima. But I've really loved her in this new character of Shilpa Malhotra. Her coming back in a new character gave us a chance to appreciate her acting skills all the more. She's been playing a character so different from her past one, and it has really showed us how great of an actor she is.
Call me a biased KaSh fan but I think quite a lot of non-Shilpa fans have also appreciated her return. I know many, including quite a few AR/KaJen fans, have loved her chemistry with KSG. A lot of people are also quite fond of her friendly pair with Wahi, a pair that has been nicknames ShiRan. And well I think everyone's aware of how KaSh fans have felt ever since her return. Thus thank you Shilpa for coming back and entertaining us so much.
All in all, I've loved both parts of KaSh but currently I feel like I'm more of a Shilpa fan. I am with her in whatever decision she makes, and my best wishes are with her. If DMG does end, then I'd like it to end with KaSh, but as I said I support Shilpa in whatever decision she makes, and I hope everything works out for her in the end.
