Monday 13/9/10

Athu ennavO RR kku odambellam maccham ppa - innikkum maattalai. pOttu kudutha mahanubhavan jaga vaangittar - "some name confusion, sorry " !!!! Adhi family kku moonji poora pallu , apram Aadhi's sister asks her dad to call RR - " ange yum yaarunm kozhappa pOranga !!"So, right now engagement le no problems 😉

Temple - Pallu, Karthik and RR - Pallu praying for that little girl Selvi -
"naan tholaicha antha pOnnu enge irunthaalum nalla irukkanum" RR
praises Pallu to the skies (athu sari...un thillalangadi thanam mattum
theriyattum, apram irukku di yooyyy) and tells Karthik that his mother
has a heart of gold " we have to somehow make her like your GF, apram the marriage is cakewalk " Now we all know that Selvi is Shreenithi, illiya?? So, Shree kku innikki thaan B'day. Karthik gives her a gift and asks her to open only after she goes home. Now it is time for Shree to sing " Prem Ashtothram" - "he saw our wedding snap somewhere and promptly handed it over to me. He is an agmark gentleman. You still doubt him, eh?? He could have pOttu kuduthufy to your people or mine but gave it to me !!" Karthik says that he has no doubts about Prem's intention - " you just be careful, ok?"

Sundu and RR - as usual meet in some public place. Talk about Pallu accepting Karthik's GF. As usual they decide to "Oora pottufy" (summava pinne??? varusha kanakkile muzhu poosaniyai sadathile maraichavangalaache !!! seekirama oru decision eduppangalaa enna??)

Gopi's house. Mechanic Karthik arrives with his parents. As Selva and Usha go in to make a cuppa, Gopi insults them royally ( uh huh Roja , what an oxymoron !!) Tells them that Gopi is Travancore Rajah's distant cousin and a kattida mesthri has no place in his kingdom. Karthik and his parents leave. Usha and Selva arrive with coffee and find that the "groom's party" were shown the exit. Selva says that only the mechanic can tie the noose and Gopi vows that it will be RR's son who does the honors. Ore sogam for Selva and
ore gloating for Gopi (Mr.Roja vows to take it up with Kathadi
Ramamurthi whenever he gets the next chance to meet KR -
Mr.Roja has a toothache and so is home to bug Roja and the TV - probably not in the same order !!😉 )

Episode - 102

RR sitting on his bed reading a book, Anu enters the room, tells RR that she feels both proud and sad for him, not only he has his office work but also Nivedha's engagement. (pinna pakkaththuveettukkaarana vandhu seivaan ... must ask Atina for her wall) RR is happy about it, is astonished at the speed time runs.. ippo thaan avarukku kalyaaNam aana oru feelingaam.. (endha kalyanam pathi discussing RR?) tells Anu..what would have become of him if she had not married him.. Anu replies that he has no perumai because of her.. that she is proud of him.. namma vaazhkkaila nadandhadhu if had happened in someone else's life, everything would have shattered she says..(seekiram pazhaiya kadhaiya Ottungayyaa..chumma ...) he never even looked at anyone, RR wears a guilty look.. whatelse can a girl ask for she talks emotionally. She is happy and content with her life, just wants Nivedha's engagement and wedding to get on smoothly. RR gives her that confidence. Tells him to get back home every night until the engagement is over. He accepts.

VJ1 at the park. Karthik tells Shree that he is visiting her parents the next day to ask for her hand. Shree presses the panic button, says no leave, boss will entertain with a rudhra thandavam, karthik promises to talk to the boss and get her a day off, She points it is important to get his mother's permission first... Karthik is confident his father will do the needful. Shree says she has to arrange a lot of things.. Karthik wonders whatever the arrangement would be.. Tells him that she will talk to her family and later he can visit. Karthik gets convinced. Shree feels habbaa.. great escape. Pallu is as such a volcano on spotting Shree she laments.. Karthik repeats whatever RR had told him.. Shree gives a bright idea, says Karthik to tell that Shree was the lost child... both laugh ( siringa.. adhaan uNmai one day adhu sudum...)

Pallu's household - RR and Sundaram enter... RR asks if Sundaram would enact without any sodhappals.. Sundaram is confident about his acting ( RR you should never ask this Q to your aaptha naNban - muzhupoosaNiyai....) Karthik chases Priya, complains to his dad about her messing with his books.. Pallu enters and prophesies that they would have been MIL & DIL in their previous birth. RR advices Karthik not to fight with Priya.. Pallu offers coffee.. Sundaram tells no time for coffee, have to leave on some work. Pallu chides for not finishing that too and then getting back home. RR says have work on that Thooththukudi project, for 3 days, Sundaram adds that they might have to make the trip too... Pallu's father comes and tells RR to give some work to Karthik who would finish it for him.. Pallu catches this point and prods Karthik too, who is all ready to help his father. RR says it is very critical and that he has to be in the forefront... Pallu has an adjoinder, asks Karthik to accompany RR.. RR & Sundaram have the SBT look... Sundaram says he is always accompanying RR.. RR recommends Karthik to take care of the house.. Pallu finally gets convinced... Both SBTs take leave, RR confident no trouble from Pallu's household for Nivedha's engagement.

LMK and his friend plan to stop the engagement. LMK laments that paatti survived. His friend tells he is a born loser. Friend gives him a stupid idea to square up Nivedha. LMK says will stop the wedding and not the engagement. That is when they will beg him to marry Nivedha.. Friend wonders if this plan would be a success.. LMK is confident.

Episode 104 🥱

Karthik tells Shree that the base of any relationship is truth (ivar amma-kitta no girlfriend-nnu poi sollaley?? double standard guy) . He says he has a bad impression of anyone who lies to their lover.
(Please ask the scriptwriters to STOP using the term lover!)
At that time, Nivedha calls Shree, saying Friday is her engagement and her days of spinsterhood are numbered. She invites Karthik as well for her engagement, and looks forward to introducing him to her father (RR) at the engagement as he will be an asset to his social service interest (she could have suggested her father could find him a job!)

Mechanic Karthi at a shop, and meets RR at the roadside. RR asks him why he looks down, and Karthik says he has a shortage of funds, hence he cant meet family obligations like even getting married. RR asks why, and Karthi spills the beans on loving a girl but her parents feel he is an Anna Kavadi and wont get her married to him. He doesnt want to run away with her, but wants to get rich before marrying her. RR suggests he can get rich only if he steals or gets lucky. MK wants to only work hard to get rich. RR is impressed, and asks him how. MK wants to expand his workshop and work hard- RR is impressed and volunteers to lend him as much money as he needs to invest in the workshop. RR says MK is a son like his son Karthik. (MK thinks this sounds too good to be true- falls at RR's feet) RR says he shouldnt fall at people's feet because of money, but because of age or respect. MK is happy and RR asks him to come to his house to collect the money.

Gopi's house- Gopi is eating, asks why Selvarani isnt eating. SR is sulking and refuses to eat, saying it doesnt matter what happens to her health. Gopi claims he doesnt care, and she will only get married to RR's son. Wife tries to convince him, but to no avail. Gopi takes a vow to get RR's son as son-in-law.

RR's mother- thinking about the josiyar's prediction that the granddaughter's wedding will bring about complications. Enter grandson(dont know name) who makes small talk with her. Grandma goes to the kitchen to see Anu who asks her if she needs coffee (how many coffees can grandma drink)

Grandma wants to go to the amman temple for her vendudhal, and Anu doesnt want to let her go alone. Grandma struggles to convince her, and the phone rings. RR calls, saying he is coming home
(finally) to do some shopping for the engagement. So grandma says she will go alone to the temple. Grandma leaves, and meets Shree outside the house. She enquires about Karthik, and Shree volunteers to drop her at the temple.

Shree and grandma arrive at temple, walks with her inside. Palluvali's parents are also at the temple and they meet grandma at the temple entrance. Grandma's face turns red, she turns around and walks away from the temple. Shree runs behind her and asks her why. Grandma says the sagunam is not auspicious.

Thanks, Roja, for the update. I noticed something when I was watching yesterday - it looks like Anu has now moved to Saligramam and Palluvali is in R A Puram! The script writers have lost their collective minds, or else the editor has lost his/her job!

@LJ maa .. i too noticed the residence confusion 😆 .. hmm script writers ellam nammala muttal nu ninachuttanga ..

Is it possible tht Anu could be stepney 🤔 .. appadi enna maa un life la nadanthathu ..

In today's episode they justified tht Palluvali didn't knew Anu earlier as her parents , as she was away from them during schooling ..

Anuvukku one way ticketaa... Anu legal wifeO stepneyO, this Pallu's attitude is just plain irritable... so would prefer her to get the OWT..and bring this abaththa serial to an end..

VJ1 kadhai may lead to the flash back of RR's 2 poNdaatti kadhai..

ennaththa solli ennaththa seiyya...
