Rahul , though digusted by Simran's non-stop blah...blah..smiled from outside & cursed her in his mind, his mind still drifting towards that beautiful, angelic face that had captivated his mind, body &soul from the time he had set his eyes upon it,the face of...... Juhi, he was just wondering where she could be when suddenly his pager came to life, he had been immediately called in the general ward &without wasting a single momment he rushed to the place, when he came near the patient he realised that the lady was severely injured & was bleeding quite badly,he brought in the first aid box but the blood wasn't stopping it was then that he noticed the presence of Juhi by his side, unlike the confident, always at loggerhead Juhi,she looked totally different the naughty smirk which she gave everytime she won a verbal fight against him was replaced by a gloomy face, her eyes hurt,she was trying to suppress her tears but in vain, a single tear trickled down her cheeks &before Rahul knew it he was wiping off her tear Juhi's gaze shifted from the lady to Rahul n then back to the lady, Rahul's gaze followed hers & immediately he resumed his work,stopping the blood flow somehow, he bandaged the lady & started a saline i.v.,taking Juhi by her arm he took her in a corner & asked if everything was fine,she nodded slightly which ofcourse didnot satisfy him,he asked again this time tightening his grip around her gentle hands,for a momment she didnot say anything neither did she protest when he came closer &wiped away her now free flowing tears,she simply let herself be consoled by him,it was a great feeling, coz for the 1st time in her life,she found a shoulder to cry on,she had till now been trying her level best to stay strong , she lost her parents at an early age but never got a chance to cry ,to share her sorrow with anyone as her tai was a heart patient & already she had done so much for her,she never wanted to make her feel depressed, sad, because of her, her tai was the only one she could call her own in this ruthless, unknown world....&when she got a page calling her to the ward,she just couldnt do anything she had gone blank seeing her Tai bleeding,she didnot want to loose her,it was then that Rahul handled the situation &she was automatically relieved on seeing him,why? she did not know
'you scared me' Rahul cut in the chain of thoughts running in Juhi's mind, he had been looking right into her eyes as if trying to read her mind,'what happened? why were u crying?'he asked in a concerned tone.
'ummmmm.......Tai.......that was my tai.u bandaged......' she said trying to compose herself.
'I think there's more to it, come on, now that we are friends u can tell me' he politely asked, Juhi didnot react for a long time,she didnot know what to do, should she trust him?....but Rahul was patiently waiting,giving her all the time she wanted in the world,he didnot push her into anything, in fact on the contrary, he simply loosened his grip,&gently placed her hand back by her side.
'I understand its too early to trust upon someone, I respect ur decision & hope that some day you will have the trust to tell me, I'll wait for it , you can take as much time as u want..........but just remember one thing...........please don't ever cry in front of me,plz don't ever be gloomy n depressed coz I don't know why it hurts me............keep smiling............coz I simply love ur smile & hey we didnot fight today........now I think I wont be able to digest my food' & a naughty smile lit his handsome face.
His smile was so contagious Juhi thought as a smile lit her face up too

Gujral Mansion
Prithvi & Damini kept staring at each other for a long time & then Prithvi was gently straighting Damini upright when both of them heard toofan n then saw toofan coming towards them at great speed, Immediately Prithvi left Damini in a safe corner & ran in full speed so as to control Toofan, gripping the saddle, he was apparently dragged by Toofan for a few metres before Toofan came to a hault just in front of Damini, Damini was shocked & for a few seconds she just couldn't understand what had happened,when she came back to her full senses she ran staight towards Prithvi n helped him stand up
'God, U r hurt badly Prithvi,who asked to do this? u shouldn't have, u risked ur life twice for me today, why? Plz don't' she went on to say but Prithvi was simply staring in her eyes, he could see a lot of concern,this tough lady surely had a heart n that too at the right place, he was touched & before he knew,Damini was taking him by the arm in her room & bandaging his wounds, Prithvi simply went on staring at her, he did not know what she said but her eyes told him that she was concernrd, that she cared, & that was enough for him, finally afterbandaging all his wounds, Damini looked up to find him staring unblinkingly towards her, his intense eyes captivated her, there was gratefulness, kindness in them,& she also saw some thing else.......a spark.......she hadn'tseen in anyone's eyes, what was it? she hadn't seen it before..........'but before she could figure out Prithvi stood up, thanked her & started to leave ,it was then that she found her voice back' take a leave Prithvi, U need rest, Take ur medicines on time' she said as a parting msg & Prithvi simply looked back dumbfounded, 'I m fine .......ma'am..'his voice trailed off & he literary ran from the place,his heart pounding, his breath increased , he was sweating in an Ac room..............had he gone nuts...........maybe Damini was right.....he needed rest.......thats it.......yes .........he need to rest &went off to sleep in his bedroom,as soon as he closed his eyes he saw Damini in the dress he'd seen on their first meet, he opened his changed his sleeping position then tried to sleep again, again he saw Damini...............God, why is she every where I look?? he thought & finally drifted off to sleep............&didnt know when a small curve spread across his sleeping Handsome face...........
Damini on the other hand kept seeing the spark in his eyes everywhere, in her sleep, in Rosh's Teddy, in everything she touched, in every thing she saw & surprisingly she saw the same spark in her own eyes when she saw a reflection of herself in the mirror...............................................................................................
