OK..Me here with my review on yesterday's episode..(ya ya I know I know em very late..but kya karoon..i only catch the repeats)...neways here it goes....

Yesterday's episode was intense ..I mean very very intense...My most fav dialogue was "I love u...but I ma not in love with U"....This dialogue certainly suits Onu's charachter a lot....OK now coming to the episode...Well I know many people are really upset with Onu for breaking tani's heart and all..*I saw someone also finding Subodh perfect for Tani now*😆..But i seriosuly found that to be OK....First of all...we should realize that 8 years is a LONG time...And moreover...we should see wher the two main leads have been living for these 8 LONG years...Tani has been living in india....with a conservative mindset...waiting for her love ....On the other side..there's Onurag....Who has been living in LONDON!!!Totally westernized in these 8 years..So naturally his mindset has really changed..While on one hand Tani always thinks about Anurag and waiting for him....it is just beause how WE are here...we are conservative...and we take time to forget...same with Tani....she just cant forget Onurag beacsue all these 8 years SHE has been living in a small town of Suiliguri with no friends...I mean atleast no male friends(not boyfriends..I mean friends who r guyz😆)..while on the other hand Onurag's mindset has already changed.interacting with Nupur...its natural for anurag to fall for another girl..Truly speaking...if you see the episodes even before the leap...acc to my POV..it was onlt tani who started having feelings for Anurag at the end...Yah..Anurag too had feelings for her...but like a friend!!!

Now..coming to a very valid reason given by Anurag in yesterday's episode..why does the soeciety always believe that it a guy and a girl are friends...they are in love????😕😕I find it really wierd...They can always be friends....but why does friendship between a guy n girl always mean MARRIAGE???Same with Anurag and Tani..Anurag was doing everything for Tani since he loves her like a friend....

And now coming to some glitches in the episode..IMHO...I found the Tani's heart breaking scene really off...I mean when Tani ran to her room and was crying..i found it really really wierd...The scene was highly overdone..*thnks to kekta Mai's sound designers..who always have to add echos to someone who is crying*..Tani was crying as if someone had died...Maybe..for her,heartbreak=something huge...but seriosuly..i found the scene overdone...No bashing here..I like both harshad and Anupriya's acting..but she overacted a bit in this scene.....And the last part of the episode with Nupur's suicide attempt thing..Uff..I expected soemthing better rather than this silly suicide scene...I guess Nupur is from London!!!And from the first leap promo where Harshad holds her hand from the car...gave me an image that she would be no less than a angrezi memsaab😆

Anyways..this was my take on the episode...Strictly acc to my POV!!!😊

Nyc review.......dat Nupur's scene wz soooooooo idiotic!!!! I mean even I thot dat she wud b westernized n a loooooooot more sensible!!!! ( definitely nt d one who tries 2 commit suicide widout noin abt d actual situation😡)....n taani's cryin scene wxnt impreesive either...

shounak i respect your POV but i have seen people cry in a worst way than how Taani did when they are heart broken in love, i guess no one can really tell how much it hurts unless they have experience.

I understand what you are trying to say, about difference in Indian society influence and western influence. But I do remember that before Onu and Taani had parted, Onu always tried to complete the duties of a good husband, and was protective of Taani not just as a friend; remember the jealousy he felt when Subodh wanted to give Taani his love letter?? I can sense that 8yrs is a long time, but what is completely unexpected of Onu is that if befre aprting he remembered and felt as a husband, and to fulfill his duties, then y all of a sudden he forgot all dat? just because he got supportive & caring shoulder of some odr gal??

I also think that Taani's crying seen was not overdone, some one who is really emotional in love, and involved in a relation, will ract only this way, and then this was the breaking of hope of Taani of 8long years, in one single moment. I have seen and felt d apin of heratbreaks. On the contrary that was a really well directed and well enacted scene.

N yes, plzz do not beat me up for this but I felt that Subodh is a more deserving guy for Taani! 😃

Chahat i don't think he can just forget, its just we have not been shown his POV yet ... see when he fulfilled his duties as a hubby, he was punished and told by Shehkar that he was wrong so may be he too started thinking that he was wrong and if he had just remained friends with Taani none of that would have happened so he decided to be just friends with her and still try and give her every happiness he feels she deserves. For him her happiness is above everything still and don't forget Taani had always told him she will never accept him as a husband so that must be at the back of his mind too.

I am sure he did not forget it but we just don't know the reason yet why he no longer feels he loves her. I hope they show it and don't leave it to our assumption.

And i disagree on Subodh part 😆 because he is indirectly the actual reason behind all this and till date he has not done anything for Taani even remotely close to what Anurag has done for her ... Anurag's relation with Taani is very deep

@ Shounak: Like Nadia, I disagree with you on your POV about Taani overreacting. What we have to understand is what the character of Taani is all about- she has been waiting for eight long years, just for one person- Anurag. Living with his memories, longing every single day to see him, waiting for that one day when he will come back to her and accept her as his wife. She loves him, more then anything in the world. With Anurag's case is different, he was sent away, but he could move on in that place, make a new life for himself. But for Taani it's different- she's still living in the past, where it was just her and Anurag, and their love for each other. You wrote that it was as if someone had died- true, but her pain is just as if someone has died- her love has just been shattered, all her dreams have just been shattered. I think Taani was perfect in that scene, and totally thought her pain was evident, that it reduced me to tears also. When you truly love someone and your heart is broken in that love, the pain truly is unbearable- not that I have experienced it, but I just know. x

I don't think Anuraag forgot his "husbandly" duties towrds taani because at the time he was too young to even understand what that meant. He felt a close emotional bond with taani because of his friendship with her and it is one he still feels. That he is her husband was a thought planted in his mind more due the actions of the adults around him and as to what that really meant he took his cues from the adults around him looking to how his father behaved with his mother and his bimal kaka with his laboni ma. As a result he felt he had to provide for taani and felt responsible for taani's wellbeing and he still feels that but now he is old enough to know that being a husband is not merely that. So I don't think that is fair so say that as a child Onu felt husbandly feelings which he then forgot over the last 8 years. 8 years ago Onu was too young to know what being a husband meant. He cared deeply for taani and felt responsible towards seeing her always happy and that has not changed even today.

^^ Exactly, I agree. A 15 year old cannot possible, IMHO, know how to fulfil husbandly duties, or feel the feelings a husband has towards his wife. A child that age is still going through things like puberty, their hormones are all over the place, they are still developing. Emotions like love develop and fully blossom with time and maturity- I don't feel before the leap either Anurag or Taani were fully able to understand what love really is and what is does to someone. x

So it that it now guys?? No more happiness in the show? Only tears from now on? 😭 Do you think we'll be lucky enough to get any more 'happy' Anurag and Taani scenes, rather than rona-dhona, sacrifices, kurbaniyan? 🤣 x
