And hello again, everyone! So here's my round up of Day Three, in random order...😊
Stunt Four
This was for me the most interesting and tricky stunt so far. What was tested wasn't strength or balance or endurance, but precision. Just observation, and presence of mind. Plus, it seemed like such an adrenaline surge. Dino and Ritwik's arm wrestle was fun, and Dino made a smart choice in picking this stunt instead of the next.
Dino v/s Terrence...Full points to both for holding on till the end. And Dino's the man for the safety band. That choice paid off, eh? Niiice.
Karan Singh Grover v/s Rahul Bose...Hmm...now this was a tricky one. Rahul claimed a technical glitch. Benefit of doubt granted, but like PC said, he should not have given the go ahead if he thought there was a problem. I don't know if anyone noticed, but Cyrus spoke of the same thing about the helmet right after his task ended. Didn't make a big deal of it though. Anyhow, I don't think it's my place to say because I've no idea what really happened. I'm just happy he decided to stay on, eventually. Oh, and controversy or no controversy, Karan did a fabulous job on his part. Good stuff. Oh, and I liked the fact that Karan picked Rahul for a head-on. Always respect people who pick tough competition, like Dino did last time, for instance.
Armaan Ebrahim v/s Angad Bedi...Armaan's on home ground, and it shows. Did well, and did it happily. Angad gave it a decent shot too, but the band's only for one hand. What to do.
Cyrus Broacha v/s Abhishek Kapoor...Point to Abhishek. Cyrus left a little late, like Terence did. Bit of a misjudgement.
Shabbir Ahluwalia v/s Rahul Dev...Right on the line. Effing brilliant, Shabbir! Rahul Dev was close too, admittedly. But the safety band goes to just one man, and rightfully so.
Stunt Five
These people seem to be rather fond of dunking their contestants' faces in crawly mulch. Interesting stunt, though, especially because of the complication of numbered balls to be arranged in the right order. Good to watch. Icky, but good.
Rahul Bose...Made Annie do it, again. Don't think he fancies crawl-fests like this one. Still looked pretty peeved from the previous stunt, too. Anyway, he's not the point here. Annie. WOW. Brilliant performance, the best of the entire lot and no less! Awesome!
Ritwik Bhattacharya...Well done, again! The only other contestant to manage four balls in the right order. Really good!
Terrence Lewis, Angad Bedi, Rahul Dev...Their partners did pretty well too. It's just that first ball that kept eluding most people. Well, at least they're through.
Cyrus Broacha...Sad that he had to go. But someone has to go, right? And he was quite spirited about it, as always. Will miss his liveliness. All the best to him for everything else he does!
Whopper of the Day : Super Annie. Super performance. And Shabbir for being bang on target, quite literally. Lol. 😎
Shocker of the Day : Um, well, I'd pit that as Rahul's pronouncement of wanting to leave. I heaved a serious sigh of relief when he decided to stay on. 😳
Pat on the Back of the Day : Ritwik for the second stunt, and everyone who cleared the first. Good job, amigos! 👍🏼
So yeah, that's about it. I quite enjoyed tonight as well, and tomorrow seems pretty interesting in its own right. Let's see how this goes. Would love to know what you guys thought too!
Cheers! 😊
