Hey guys! đ
So I'm here again, fresh from the telecast of Episode Two. And here's an overview of what happened, with my own little tidbit takes, in completely random order.
Stunt One
Breakfast! Lol. Well, so it was for twelve very unfortunate people, who had to dig in on three ropes covered with everything creepy-crawly imaginable. And what a delectable delight it was. Oh yeah. đ
And since this one was a Head-On stunt, pitting two teams against each other, it was quite an interesting watch.
Rahul Bose v/s Ritwik Bhattacharya...Truth be told, I was a little surprised when Rahul Bose made his partner do it, but then I suppose that's all right. You can draw a line somewhere. Plus, she did really well. Go Annie! Ritwik didn't do great here, unfortunately. In fact, if I noticed right, his was the least weighing amount of all twelve. 18 grams. Of mulch, but nevertheless. He more than made up for it in the second stunt. But more of that later.
Shabbir Ahluwalia v/s Terence Lewis...That's the way to bite 'em off, dude! Well done! Shabbir was the one guy who really went for the little suckers. Like, really. Even PC acknowledged it. Good stuff. Terence slipped a bit, but managed to do a decent job. Not good enough, unfortunately, but like Ritwik, the man made up for it in Stunt Two.
Dino v/s Armaan...84 effing grams! Dino did the best of the whole lot. Fabulous job! Armaan tried fairly well, but then there's only so much you can do with beetles and worms. Really. Plus, he was doing well in Stunt Two too.
Karan Singh Grover v/s Rahul Dev...Both seemed to take their time, as opposed to most others who ran and slipped and jumped. But then Karan did a really good job with 52 grams. Great going, dude! Rahul was okay too...but yeah, creepy crawlies aren't everybody's cup of tea. Or plate of breakfast. 'Nuff said.
Cyrus Broacha v/s Angad Bedi...Angad made his partner go too, and she beat Broacha as well. Niiice! Cyrus tried hard too, though. It took quite a bit of PC's breath to keep reminding him that the insects had to be transferred to the bowls, and not eaten before they got there. Lol. On a more serious note, I think his strategy backfired. He tried getting too many in his mouth in one go, didn't manage that too well, and lost out on time because of it. Fair try, though.
Manjot Singh v/s Abhishek Kapoor...Girl against girl, this one. And I'm afraid Manjot's partner did pretty badly. Point to Abhishek's partner. Good job!
Stunt Two
Okay, now honestly, the first thought that struck me when PC explained the stunt, was that the six safety banded teams had had it really, really easy. Were it in my hands, I'd have loved to invert the order of the stunts, giving safety bands to those who cleared this one instead of the first. But then, well, it wasn't in my hands. Big surprise. So here we were, with a swimming pool, one freaky stunt, and some serious competition.
Ritwik Bhattacharya...Whoa! And wow! Three floaters, and the maximum time under-water. Both partners did fabulously well. Brilliant!
Terence Lewis...Second only by 0.01 seconds! SO close...!! But three floaters, and one really good performance. I think his agility helped, as did Ritwik's while doing his turn. Awesome!
Cyrus Broacha...He tried so hard, that it was really good to watch. And in all fairness, he did get one floater in. Hope he does better now, since he's still in the competition.
Armaan Ebrahim...Not too disappointing, simply because he wasn't the one who quit. His partner gave up, but they were doing pretty well. One floater, but enough to get him through. Could have cost him, admittedly, which is why Madhura should be a little more careful next time. Phew.
Rahul Dev...Major disappointment, no offense meant to those who're rooting for him. He screwed up. And not once, but twice. First when he had what PC and Cyrus called a Cyrus Broacha Moment...haha...and second, when he left his partner struggling with the lock on her hand and reached for the floater instead, leaving her sinking under water trying to free herself. What was he thinking, really? Both the times?! Yikes. The only thing that could have saved him was an even worse performance, which is precisely what did it.
Manjot Singh...I feel genunely bad for the guy. His partner quit before he could even give the stunt a fair beginning. Heck, they were in the water only for 15 seconds before she flagged herself out! Really sad that he had to leave so soon, and for no fault of his. Sigh.
Whopper of the Day : Dino Morea's 84 grams. Wow. And, Terence Lewis in Stunt Two. I sort of expected Ritwik to do well, so no surprises there, but Terence was quite a stunner! đ
Shocker of the Day : Rahul Dev's two massive slips, and Manjot's partner giving up so quick. Very unfortunate.
Pat on the Back of the day : Everyone who aced the crawly meal. They had it easier than Stunt Two, but it was commendable nevertheless. Oh, and an extra pat to Ritwik for Stunt Two. Awesome! đđź
So yeah, today was quite an interesting watch, again. They've got some good stuff up their sleeves this season. Makes me really look forward to tomorrow! đ
That's my Always-More-Than-Two Cents...hehe...would love to know what you guys thought too!
Cheers! đ
