Education and Courtesy

This is something that really stood out to me in today's episode. How an education level and appearance can lead to people being treated a certain way.

For example, the way I see what Shamar and Kshitij both did to Akashi was equally horrible. One ruined her previous dreams and the other betrayed her trust. But today Kshitij apologized to Mihir and despite everything he did, Mihir is automatically willing to forgive him because he has repented. Shamar on the other hand has actually changed himself in many ways...he's politer, more focused, caring, respectable...but the way Mihir percieves him is absolute garbage. To keep calling him Jaahil made me so angry at Mihir. 😡 Shamar was right, being more educated doesn't give someone the right to call anyone else ignorant or uneducated. Why is Kshitij worthy of forgiveness after one small apology and yet Shamar has to be looked down on, depsite the fact that he is visibly changing his ways and respecting Akashi a lot? Is it his unkempt appearance, his lack of education or a general fact of society...people are judged by how they look.

As far as I'm concerned, the rough tongued but good-hearted Shamardas is a hundred times more genuine than all the educated but ultimately unreliable and arrogant Kshitij's of the world. 👏

I agree wid u completely.....it is sad but the the fact is that this is quite true in today's world......People run only after those who have riches, good looks, or education...and those who are blessed with all these things have such an immense pride that they dont realize that a few caring words can even change the shape of a stone!!!
I too was really angry at Mihir for saying Shamal will always be 'jaahil and gawar'.....couldnt he understand an ounce of truth in Shamal's words......He spoke so softly with Kshitij eversince he encountered him 2 episodes back and was ready to forgive him and will probably coax Akashi to marry Kshitij so that he can get over with the 'jaahil and gawar'🤪
Now I seriously wish Akashi opposes Mihir and sticks on to Shamal and together they become rich and she teaches him to read/write. There is a saying - 'every dog has his day.' Hoping that someday Mihir might go to ask some favor from Shamal and is shown attitude.😡

Very well said.......👏 while i totally agree that its high time Mihr stopped looking down upon Shamar..... tell me is he not supposed to dislike the man who first took away his child and later forcibly married his sister in law..!! The ovulsion towards Shamar from Mihr is understandable..!!
But i really am baffled to see his changed tone while referring to Kshitij.....seemed as if he has already let bygones be bygones and may be mainly to keep Aakashi away from Shamar....
Nyways..as they say.. 'Jab jab pyaar pe pehra hua hai..pyaar aur gehra hua hai'
AkaSha are gonna b together....4ever ❤️

I lost respect for Mihir the time he said that even if Smriti is to return, no one will come between him and Purva....What else to expect from this man....Another example of a smart ,goodlooking, educated and professionally well guy who doesn't know how to rate human beings... When Mihir threatens him for a fight, Shamar is bold enough to stay away from it .....He might have thought of Akashi....But this man, Mihir....what to say about him....

U r 100% right
Mihir..........he was ready to marry a girl before Purva, then married Purva, and now he does not even remember Smriti😡....his words that he would have chosen Purva even if Smriti was alive is really disheartening...😡
U have given a very nice example😊.......Mihir and Kshitij😡🤢

I agree with the post that says that it is difficult for Mihir to forgive Shyamal because he took his child away and forcibly married his sister-in-law....that is in fact what makes his forgiveness towards Kshitij such a sore spot. If Shyamal married Akashi forcibly, Kshitij abandoned her when she needed him most. Being from an educated, respectable family one would think Kshitij would have been more understanding and protective of Akashi instead of worrying about what society would think. Why is Mihir overlooking the fact that Kshitij put Akashi through a worse hell than Shyamal? With Shyamal Akashi was expecting the worst anyways...it was Kshitij's abandonment that really broke her.
At the very least, Shyamal has been honest in his emotions, whether it was hate, revenge, respect or love. Kshitij was dishonest in all the promises and emotions he portrayed towards Akashi. I do not think Mihir would be willing tio forgive Shayamal so easily, but then he needs to have the same standards for Mr. Educated Kshitij...Maybe Shayamal should wear a suit and speak English in front of Mihir 👎🏼 Mihir is usually a sensible character, but he needs to get Kshitij off the high society pedestal he has him on.
