Why do people expect ex-es would be friends? If the break up was bitter then obviously you want to avoid each other at any cost....if it wasn't so bitter even then it is a bit awkward....sure you may be "friendly" and meet at social occasions say hi occasional phone calls and birthday wishes which with time should be zero but really working together as co-stars is going to be weird (especially with the whole world staring at you LOL!). I don't think we will ever see them work together and I don't even expect to!

I just want to clarify. I don't expect them to be friends. Being friends with your ex isn't easy and trust me, I am more than aware of that. But I still think a maintaining a professional relationship is perfectly possible if you are in the same profession.
