It actually depends on what major you have, and which sort of journalism you go for. I dint have much knowledge about this, lately. The article posted here helped. 😳

Whatever a person wishes to do, he does it . . irrespective of their genders. It's as simple as that! You can do it if you have the determination and skill in you. The real thing starts only after you've got the degree. Even if you get work, it's hard for you as woman to cope with various circumstances and cover certain reports. Every kind of journalism needs you to have enough information over it and also, will power. It's hard! That is something my Grand father told me when I told him what all would I like to pursue in future.

If one goes of some serious journalism like politics and social issues and whatnot then for a woman, it obviously would be difficult in a country like ours.

Barkha Dutt is one public figure the world looks up to, she's a woman and she's made up to this level. You'd have hurdles, it's how about you combat. =)

You must visit a career counselor, he'd help you better with this.
