If Abhi had been a woman and Simi and Mili guys, can you imagine how disgusted we would be?
If a woman was constantly harressed by her brother-in-law and her husband did not believe her, she would not feel safe with him in the house. It would be pure torture. The situation is no different in this case. Abhi is not safe in the Seethi home. What Abhi is enduring is a horrible case of s*xual harressment and that too from Mili a victim of an attempted rape!!?

All this makes no sense. It is clear the writers did zero research and made up this rubbish as most of the audiences in India do not know any better and do not question that these behaviors are not a result of either an attempted rape or PTSD. This lack of questioning does not mean they like or appreciate the story but can lead to their willingness to accept that these things could happen.
As a result this storyline acctually protrays (attempted) rape victims in a horrible light and suggests that they turn bad. The Sunshiners, Kanikaa and Astha actually do a disservice to these women and suggests that their whole use of the attempted rape was NOT to send a public service message but to build higher ratings which I find completely revolting.
For Abhi the situation is made worse as Mili could accuse him for attempted rape or rape and then he would be ruined for life. The fact is that Mili did some very disturbing things and NO-ONE even cared to get an explanation for her behaviors?
Abhi is not safe around Mili and is wife doesn't even get it. He's scared not only for himself but her. He should quit worrying about her and get out!!!
