| Indresh Mallik aka Rajiv Bhalla- Indresh Mallik plays the villain Rajiv Bhalla in Zee TV's Karol Bagh. His dream came true when he recently shot a promo of Kaun Banega Crorepati with Amitabh Bachchan. He was in for a shock after Big B came up to him and introduced himself. "I was embarrassed to see such a big star coming to me and introducing himself. It was surprising for me that he knew my show Karol Bagh is shot in Delhi. He was visibly happy when I told him that I belong to the same Karorerimal College where he completed his studies in Delhi. He is the most modest man I have ever met. Co incidentally there were few fans who wanted Amitabh Bachchan's autograph and pictures recognized me due to my show Karol Bagh. Later they asked me too for snaps and autograph. It was such a gratifying feeling that I still can't get over it. It was only one day of shoot but I will always cherish it for whole my life. I play a common man in the promo; who makes fun of Mr. Bachchan who asks questions. I feel fortunate that Mumbai is a city of actors and yet I was called from Delhi to shoot for the KBC promo and everyone on the set keeps saying now that he is the only one in the unit who has not only seen but also worked with superstar Amitabh Bachchan. I am thankful to producer Sudhir and Seema Sharma for casting me in 12/24 Karol Bagh", he says. | |
