My theory is that the bike ride is only for Pratigya. However, his insisting on dropping off Arushi by himself was sweet, because it showed that he is just as much a part of the Saxena family as his wife is part of the Thakurs. He showed Prats that she is not going to be booted from his house, and then he walked in with Arushi by himself, showing that he didn't need an escort to console and drop off his SIL. The scene wouldn't have made sense if Prats were there, it would have been like her reassuring her nothing would happen when it was really Krishna's job as a BIL. If he isn't the best damad in the world, I dont know who is.
