Food for thought...

OK people...how's it going? Still alive after today's episode? Well I was first flying towards heaven, but then my silly brain weighed heavier with thoughts and pulled me back down.

All this while, we have been wondering what will happen when the truth comes out - of Geet's fake marriage, her pregnancy, Dev cheating on Geet, Maan and Geet being in love, Maan being Dev's brother. Like most others I, too, thought that there won't be any misunderstandings between them and that Maan would stand by her side. Maan may initially be heart broken, but he'll stay put with her.

But today's episode made me think differently. Maan is surely going to stand by her side - through thick and thin. No doubt about that. He will definitely support her. But the question is,

Will Geet accept him and agree to being with him after knowing he is Dev's brother?

This show is about Geet and how she thinks and acts differently from any other girl/person. She chooses the right path. So will being with Maan, the 'chacha' of her child, be right for her? She knows Maan has been with her and helped her selflessly, but will she continue to fuel her desire to be with him now knowing that he is Dev's brother - her fake husband's brother? She may not stop loving him, that's impossible...but she may choose the right path which may tear them apart.

I'm just so confused. Although I don't want to think about it, but I feel Geet will pull back after knowing about the relation between Maan and Dev. I hope I'm wrong, but I feel very strongly about it.

You know I really havn't thought of that. I think everyone is so busy with all this truth revelation that no one thought of this. Lets just say I'm a little scared now. 😒 I'll have to think about it. But I think we may get a better feel of how she may react to it in the upcoming episodes now that she has accepted her feelings for him.

Sorry to bring you back to earth also. But today's episode was too good not to analyze and it turned into a negative emotion for me when I came up with this thought.

Yeah, hope she acts differently. But this will be better than Maan misunderstanding her. I mean there has to be some drama...so I prefer this than the other. We know Maaneet are meant to be. By hook or by crook, he will win her....I'm sure he will.

she had moved forward thinking her life deserves her to go forward..the rest of the family has....does she not have that right?

and yes..she is going to have to rethink what to do once she knows..Maan is Dev's brother.and...yes...she will wonder if he had any had...for a second perhaps..

but she knows..the way he has been her shield, she will know..they are destined..
she has acknowledged this even more after the taveez coming into her hand..
that is a guiding factor..for her..even..when she took his hand..it was ishaara..she had said in her self dialogue and i felt she was referring to the taveez...

if maan by any mean waz a part of the tamasha which happened wid geet--then yesh--it wud haf made sense if geet left him---laykin maan ney toh kuch kiya he nahi hai!

khair jo bhi ho---i jus dont want a misunderstandin track!! any decision taken shud be taken which is based on true facts---adha sach aur misunderstandings perh nahi!

I know what you mean. But when it comes to right and wrong, some people are bound to suffer.
- She suffered because of someone else's mistake - and is still suffering.
- Her siblings and her parents have to suffer coz she chose the right way and abandoned them
- Maan had to suffer because of his past..

You know where I'm getting at, right?

OK so we are not wrong with our symbolism and ripping every scene time and again. First, he had the taveez which reminded him of her. And now she has it, which will keep reminding her that no matter what path she chooses, he is her destiny, her fate, her anchor, her life..whatever you call it.

i will just keep telling myself...........ALL IZZZZZZZZ WELL AND ALL WIIIIIIIL B WELL.........dont want to take tension anymore.....wht difference does it make?

lets think dis way.........if maan and geet confessed der love, she told him evrythng abt d past and dev is in canada......maan and geet get married and den dev enters the scene.........wht will she do den?

does it make any difference dat maan is dev's elder bro......she shuld b able to differentiate betwn dem and their characters.......i knw dat wuld b very difficult bt still ek bhai ki galati ki saza dusre ko kyun.......even if she leaves, she wont b able to forget maan and will never forgive dev and herself for hurting maan......best way for her is to marry maan.....nt coz she needs support, coz they complete each other........

Yeah I would prefer this than there be a big misunderstanding about the Dev fiasco. Plus we'll get to see Maan try to win her back. That'll it make it more interesting.

According to me, Maan will come to know about Geet's past and though heartbroken, would not let her go from his life. Geet would reciprocate too. But she will hesitate when they come to know about Dev-Maan connection. Maan may not have problem but Geet would. I dont think Maan would misunderstand Geet as many of our friends are afraid of. Maan-Geet relationship is not worldly but eternal.
