I think this whole family needs to be tossed. I have never met a middle class family where the son and daughter-in-law attempt to kill their father(-in-law) and then one of the daughter's attempts to kill her sister. This show is so unreal and unpresentative of any middle class family I know. NOTHING in this show represents middle class family values. The fact is this show is completely unable to capture this as the writers themselves clearly do not have any knowledge of the issues facing middle class families at all. I also believe that life experiences bring about creativity. The writers clearly lead sheltered lives are barely over the age of the 30 as well.
The original writer of the show as a male guy called Shakeel Qureshi and wrote the show for the first three months - when we all liked it. He then quit when they rushed the whole show. The director of the show quit six months later. Since them we have seen this show descend into madness. The producers of the show have remained the same and for them this show is about making a profit NOT delievering a realistic story. If they cannot make a profit, they will be pulled of the air. Thus this whole Mili storyline is designed to a) attract new viewers and b) make a profit. Zeetv is also behind these decisions.
I think we all need to stop holding expectations about this show as it has continued to disappoint time and time again. I watch the show but I do not expect to see anything different and consequently even this sick storyline has not bugged me to the degree it is upset other viewers.
