Maybe, you are right. But my plea to the translators is that whenever Chotte Thakur is used, to translate it simply as Shekhar in the subtitle. It sounds really weird to have Laali calling her husband Mr. Shekhar and sometimes even Sir. (I nearly fell over laughing so hardl)
Chotte Thakur translates as Junior something ... I don't know the exact meaning of Thakur so I can't translate that.
Thakur is Surname..i think which has no translation i think...thakurs belongs to upper class...Basically they r vey rich....It's very considered to be prestigious to be part of hakur family...in Rural area...they consedered as the head of town..People respect them so much...
After u said this even i m confused 😆..bcus there is not actully prper tranlation is possible of Chotte Thakur...they should us Shekhar.....So Neel what they us for her New hubby Doc..whom she calls Daktar Saab...😆
