I think her hesitation was justified. There is a lot running through her mind right now, most of all the face revelation. She really loves Dutta to bits and can do anything to keep him happy and so she is running away instead of telling him the truth because she fears he will be hurt by her truth. But, just like a cat drinks milk with her eyes closed and thinks no one is watching, nakku also cannot run too far because Dutta Patil is determined to have his name suffixed to Nakku's 😳. But, she is not yet aware that he wants to carry on with the marriage because he is in love with her. Until he says he loves her, she will not be relieved. To top it all, Kala is going on and on thanks to her growing insecurity. For Nakku, it is only right to not be over-excited about Dutta's approach because if she does that, she will be branded as someone who was waiting for this opportunity. This hesitation is very important because whenever Dutta sits back to think about her reaction to his advances, he will know that she never expected anything in return for her love and so she was hesitating. I think the CVs are doing a very good job in building it up. Plus, this gives Dutta a chance to woo her - sab kuch nakku hi karegi toh uski keemat kaise pata chalegi dutta ko? pehle hi itna taken for granted kar chuka hai! Her shying away is very important to establish her "self-respect" and for this reason, I loved the scene when she tells him why she cannot take the gift when he asks, "kya hua nakku?"
She is trying to buy time to bring herself to a moment when she can pour her heart out to Dutta, but then again, for that, she needs to be sure that he will give her a chance to explain. Like she said today, to her it feels like a relationship of obligation. She knows Dutta cares about her - she had that realization at Anna's place. She also knows that Dutta wants to have her around him because he is feeling something for her - but she does not know that the "something" is love. If he says he wants to marry her to correct his mistake, then she will keep running away - he has to HAS TO HAS TO tell her that he has fallen in love with her and she brings color to his life and her dhadkan is his strength and all that he said to the Mirror on his wall - la Kala! 😛 It will be interesting to see what he says before he extends his hand to her. I have a feeling, he can see her interaction with Babi and so will get up and go towards her and tell her to come with him.
Also, this is the chance he has - he should just take her with him to a private corner and talk! She will not feel so awkward as she is feeling now, being scanned by Kala's eye - usually women feel creepy when men watch them like that, but here, Nakku is being x-Rayed by Kala literally! 🤣 So dutta needs to give her the "coat" again - this time not literally, but an abstract one, to warm her from within and tell her what she wants to hear - but he has to say it in the right tone. I really hope this pre-cap is for real! It has to be actually because Salman is coming in on Monday. But i don't think that there will be a face revelation yet with Salman because his motto is to promote Dabang, i think we need to wait for th face revelation for sometime and yes, a little misunderstanding we must prepare ourselves for!
Lets see what Dutta does and says tomorrow! I only hope they get the much needed private moments to discuss their life. 😊
