Kools, I actually agree with you that the speech was uninspiring. Very cliche and corny. Her questioning saali jiju relationships are not the only relationship that needs questioning. There are a lot of incestuous relationships that happen in society which can be addressed more affectively and not by giving lectures through parampara. Karva chauths can be questioned by diehard feminists as to why women have to starve themselves for men and their wellbeing. It is also another parampara accepted in Indian culture.

i personally liked her bashan on sali adhi gharwali topic. i do think that it is a very embarrasing and demeaning statement.

I felt the speech was a bit out of place it would have worked better if they had concentrated on Arushi's current situation instead they went the social message route. I felt it was unnecessary yes it is an important issue and it must be brought to light but it would have had more of an impact if the dialogues were related to the issue which had unfolded in front of them.

Yes hiding the truth was a bad idea even if prats had felt everything was done their parents have every right to know so they can better protect their daughter since a man like Shakti can never be trusted there was no need to take such a huge risk, But, this track was introduced to open Krishna's eyes so it seems and they will drag until Krishna better understands his wife's situation, though hopefully they do not feel the need to go to the extant of showing a rape sequence for the sake of Kriya's relationship, but these CV's can never be trusted.
