Vicky took Maan aside after he had mumbled something vague about he will get her here and notice the look in his Mom's eyes which did not seem to bode well somehow, or was he just being over cautious where his Mom concerned and suspected the worst reactions to start with.

He told Maan that it was not possible to bring her as well, this was Mom and not Daadi and he needed to be prepared before he brought her, he needed to prep Mom, to try and throw some pebbles in the water to see the depth before he plunged headlong into it.

Maan assured Vicky that everything will be fine and to bring her for lunch as well. Vicky reluctantly called Nargis who seemed to be tied up and unable to make it for lunch. She sounded distracted and Vicky heaved a mental sigh of relief to be off the hook.

He asked to be excused from lunch on pretext of lot of work for the wedding and mehndi ceremonies and that the decorator and the caterer needed to be met and things finalized. Maan then got Abs to meet his Mom. Abs bowled Poonam over with her charm and her perfect bahu mannerisms. She deference, her respect and shyness for Maan was evident even though she stole glances at him every now and then. Maan and Abs looked like a couple deeply in love and she found it very sweet to see a Canadian girl may be more Indian than the Indian girls here. She did not have much idea as she was in an institution for a long time but she has seen nurses and seen the difference in the younger generation and the older one. The younger seemed to be more confident but also brash about their knowledge there was no diffidence to seniors or higher authority. She still could see everything and register; she had just lost the ability to relate.

She had started relating to people again about three months back and felt emotions which she had for many years frozen deep inside her. Her defence mechanism had triggered a shield which stopped her from feeling anything, pain, happiness, remorse, joy or ability to relate to people. She had been like a robot which functioned exactly like human but did not have a heart that made it feel emotion. The drugs and therapy over the years which constantly changed to experiment had finally shown some results.

She felt happy now, happy that her elder son had finally found happiness he deserved. She as a Mom had been able to fulfill her duties but he had been an exemplary son. Savitri Ma had always told her things on her visits and she had always kept memorabilia that she had shown her about her sons and their achievements. It was Vicky who worried her. He was the wild one. He had let go the minute he has felt that his father then his mother has left him all alone. He has snapped at her supposed bereftment and had turned into a hooligan and mischievious child and had continued his wild ways into adulthood. Savitri had sometimes expressed concern at how Vicky coped with the separation from his Mom and that it would be difficult to help him if he went over the edge. He seemed more calm now is what Poonam saw but he seemed to be avoiding her as well. he seemed to be keeping his distance not sure if she will again revert to her old stone self and feared desertion so seemed to be keeping himself safe from further hurt.

But she was curious about this Nargis. Who was she and why did she feel that Vicky was avoiding trying to meet her? Was it something that she should be concerned about?

She came to know Vicky had avoided lunch and she decided to talk to him this evening and to bring this girl to him at once.

She wanted to know who had gained the trust of her son when she seemed to be having a tough time, with her own son. What kind of a girl must she be to tame her wild Vicky for it must be a recent association as just a two months back when Savitri Ma had come to meet her, she had mentioned Maan's love interest but nothing about Vicky. Infact she had said that she was getting a bit worried that her grandson seemed more in France than in India and hoped that he would not bring a firang from there who did not believe in marriage so they were going to live together. Khurana Khandan mein to baat wild fire ki tarah phail jaayegi were her words of panic.

She wanted to see this girl who could take her son away from her permanently and she was not willing to let her sons go, not a chance. She had lost too many years already.

Oh...oh..Nags ko tau bhaut Darr lag raha hain...Poonam Mummyjee tau muje kacha chaba jayegi......Hailla....Mein ky karoon?? Vicky.....muje tau lagta hain humara saath yahaan tak hi tah.....OMG I hope not....but I don't want to come between a mother and a son.....

Nags....thinking to herself.....I've gotta find a way to convince Poonam MuumyJee that I have no intention of taking her son away from her...but I rather love to see him attach himself to his mom more than he does now...for they both need to heal and make up for all those VITALLY missed years....but something tells me Hard times are for Vicky and Me!!

Vrush...thoda tau rahem karna.....Nags cannot survive without Vicky now...its impossible!!!

Awesome update...and plzzzzz dont keep nargis away from vicky plzzzzzz. Make poonam understand how nargis is the heart,breath,pulse for vicky.

Phew that meeting went well...I was so stressed out but everything went so smoothly with Mummyjee that I even forgot that I was nervous in the 1st place...Yeh Maan bhi na...jab dekho tab aank maarte rehta hai...woh bhi Mummyjee ke saath baithe huye!!!!😆 Vrush thanks iss baar meri vaat nahin lagi!😆
