Now, what's becoming of our forum?

WE are becoming cliched, recycling the same topics, expressing the same "ooh's aah's ouches"

Whatever happened to all our collective creative brains? Fried! Or in fantasy land!

So,

Gals, come on, use those wonderful brains and your great sense of humors and please write something wonderfully amazing otherwise the Geet forum of today looks like a poor shadow of yesterday!

I do agree..
but halfheartedly!!

I would love to see something intellectual to discuss but half the time all I want to do is drool and 'OMG!!' as my brain is usually fried from school and the likes.

If I am not mistaken, this started after the restrictions came in ....like dont discuss today's epi here, do it there..etc etc... and then the next thing that happenned is that everyone created their "Dens" and "coffee tables" where written and unwritten rules prevail.... and where groups are literally "nested" within them selves as in the nested and nested brackets of replies and re-replies which inspite of nobody's ill -intentions are not like the free conversations the same members made earlier , bringing their unique styles into the forum and sprinkling it with their freshness ...there IS no "forum" now ..there are different groups....its like there are few political parties and few "independents"🤣 (with FF's, VM.s, PICs and few topics ) in the space and the space is fragmented (this is an analogy and I dont mean the groups here are "political".)

And then, when the inevitable happens.... we want creativity ? and freshness ? And exchange ? like before ?

Also, the show has also gone on for a while ....there will come a time when we will gradually lose interest in it, whether we like it or not, accept it or not

Right now,while we are still interested , we are not jumping up and down like we did when the show started ...I dont know, just my thoughts ...I'll take your bashings if you throw them my way.... lets not get critical of what we have ourselves created, whether good or bad..lets reflect on our own roles in it and change if we want to change....

This post in written in all earnestness as a genuine response to the topic ...it is absolutely not intended to offend anyone ....but honestly to just reflect what I see and what I honestly feel....

bt bri is right......this forum is becuming so boring that i don find a intersting topic to reply..

a topic that can give brain storming ...

except den...there some useful discussion goes on...........i read silently sometimes ...sometimes poke my sweet petite nose in ......

or else there is nthing to do except i agree ....and i disagree

or else i start searching for nice fan fic to read....😉

sometimes i get some stupid topics....and enjoy bashing the stupid posts...though in a suger coated way

it wud be fun if there some important activities in the forum....

someone can take the initiative to start it once....and like people do ....they wud post similar topics...

Hmm VJ!! I see your point. Many people are nested and don't come out into the 'forum' very often. But it goes full circle again. Why did people 'nest' to begin with?? Are there posts stimulating enough to come out to the open forum for??

I suppose you think the people in the groups should invest more effort into the forum instead of making posts like this?? You may be right. But thats how these groups started to begin with. People posted and others commented and found each other interesting. People tend to naturally group off as is the case everywhere. And all these groups are open to all so I don't see the issue with that.

BTW, this post was made for a specific person so don't take it too seriously!!

Yes, I was surprised to see the post and expressed what came into my mind ... I understand that groups are open to all, but each analysis in the den is actually a masterpiece and earlier each ones post would be out in the open ,and we could respond to each one more fully or create new ones in a more satisfying manner ... its like each of the analysis is an artist's work and earlier each artist got their own chain and link of appreciation and response and stimulated further creativity ! All of you are so brilliant !

. if the forum outside is boring , let me tell you ,after the first few pages of den, if you see the amount of chatting that comes in (and by all means let it go on and let everyone enjoy themselves)...the den also, except for the first page or two ,can become "boring"...

look I really like all of you , you are my friends and I have the privilege of having all of you around in this forum , and the last thing I want to do is to offend any of you , so I hope I have been able to connect and not offend...and I will now keep my mouth shut ! No more replies on this from me, otherwise sometimes things get entangled when we are on mail and not face to face and I love you all too much to let that happen !

VJ!! Everyone is welcome to post their views anywhere they want in this forum so there is no reason to stop yourself. If you feel some of your suggestions may be helpful maybe others might find them helpful as well.

You don't have to butter us up!! 😆 The Den has a purpose (at least the first few pages of analysis do) for feedback to the CV's who supposedly read it. After that, its all discussion and chatting and what you may find boring is not necessarily boring to others. The Geet forum itself isn't boring per se. Its just not always stimulating. We comment on each others posts in the Den as a way to analyze and dissect the show and possibly see something through someone elses eyes that we have missed. That goes on throughout the thread but its mixed with other talks. Also, each one of us posting our thoughts as topics outside of the Den would just clutter the forum more than it is already.

Sooo truee.... Geet forum has become a full of Ooohhh aaahhhaaa and lalalaaaaas....

All are seriously appreciating or dissecting each and every spoon and plate shown in the serial and linking to some symbols!!!!

Not many new posts....no blooper posts...no taking digs....No fun anymore....especially missing bumping posts by Faz!!
