Preamble…
This is totally in fun…trying to see a comic side of the situation created in the episode today. I saw him wearing black salwaar kurta and her in pink lehengha..and my mind wandered…
The Proposal….
They were pulled into a wedding, now that was better than being stranded on the road, they plunged right into village full of shaking shoulders. "Oh what a departure from himself," thought Maan, shaking his head, "he was losing it, ye geet mujhe pagal kar chuki ab bhagra bhi karwayegi. Pehle gaadi tor di..ab..mujhe.."
They just joined the shaadi like it was them organizing it. maan got into helping people. There were even people asking
"Arre kaun ho bhai," and pat would come the answer, "dulha… I mean dulhe ka…yaar..yaar.." he would answer.
Then one stud told him, "yaar sanu woh kurri se milwa de" and Maan saw red..and he retorted, " Oye khote woh meri hai, khud ke liye koi aur dhoondh"
"Toh khoote se baadh ke kyon nahi rakkha.. mera matbal hai, pehle batana than a, yaar par hai badi soni"
"Woh to hai,"dreamy look coming to his eyes, "after all, Maan Singh Khurana ki choice hegi"
Just then Geet comes to Maan and says, "e lo lassi, ji, kuch khate to nahi, lassi peen lo, thore dolle sholle ban jaayenge.. babaji, sacchi ab mein mangetar ke saath saath nakul bhi bann gayee hoon" looking skywards, "kya kya kaam karwate rehte hain?"
Maan sees her all decked up in the jewelry and says, "Oye Geet, tujhe sachchi unhone gehne de diye..ya..chura liye tune?"
"Hai! mein aapko chor lagti hoon?" Geet asks shocked
"Aur nahin to kya pata nahin kya kya chura liya hai ab tak?" He asks in return.
"Hai mein kyon kuch churane lagi, hum chote shaher se hain, delhi ke thaag nahi..!" Geet puts a hand on her mouth which has dupatta, her eyes widening at being affronted.
"Achcha? To mujhe churaya…apna banaya…" then he looks deeply into her eyes…tere naina playing in background…and then he continues softly…
"mera matlab hai mangetar…mujhe jaal me phasa diya, bhola bhala gabru naw jawan…teri bholi bhali aankhon ke jhaanse mein aa gaya! yeh chori nahi to kya hai, pata nahin..aage kya kya chori karegi"....putting a protective hand on his chest and heaving slightly...with blinking eyes he then shifts the hand to gaping mouth like Geet, who then realizes he is teasing her and removes dupatta she is holding on her mouth..
Geet takes the glass of lassi from his hand and frowns, sniffs and says, "hai, is lassi mein bhang to nahin? Maan aap ko nasha ho gaya hai kya?"
"Hai, nasha hi to hai, tera nasha, tere naino ka nasha, tere honthon ka nasha, mujhse shaadi karogi Geet, abhi isi waqt?" maan says pushing her one step backward at a time and then pinning her to wall.
Geet then pushes him back and says, "Chaddo, kyon mazaak kar rahe ho woh bhi sabke saamne."
Maan stops her from going as she tries to leave and says,
"Agar ye mazaak nahi hai to?" near her lips, looking into her eyes, all teasing gone, just emotion, raw emotion that he knew Geet could see in his eyes.
